This is super nice, Try coating the tires with a thin coat WD40 that may give you the extra grip you needed. I wonder if you can get some different tires like maybe from RC4wd if they have anything the size maybe a hair taller would be nice. I really like this small rig it's built real good a true hobby grade.... I put mine threw hell and it keeps coming back for more!! 👍Nice showcase.

I bought one love it I already swapped plastic steering link with metal and put a new bright 1/15 scale body on it looks amazing with headlights in new body

Impressive little crawler. That wheel speed is dangerously mad when hopping over obstacles. I think the advertised speed of 15-20 KPH is about right! Great video mate. This one should go on the Christmas list for sure.

I never noticed before how small that steering servo actually is. This was a great test and in my opinion this think is a pretty good 1/16 or 1/14 scale crawler

It probably can’t. The body is a 1:16 scale, and the MN D90 is a 1:12

Hi Duncan, yes it'll fit perfectly. Most of my friend replace the original body with mn90 / mn99s hardbody. Doesn't need additional body post, mount it directly to front and back bumper.

Hi Tomley! I love your super informative videos! I'm trying to decide between two Landrover Defender RC models, the RGT 136161 and the MN 99. I'm having a tough time deciding between the two because they're roughly the same price and appear to perform the same for rock crawling. Which one would you recommend someone who's just starting the hobby to get? I am planning to get extra LiPo batteries but I don't have any controllers or other hardware. Do the Oil shocks in the RGT put it above the MN? Which one is more worth it? Thanks in advance!

What people want to see is things like, how good is the ESC, will it crawl, you just seem to hammer the throttle. Show the steering lock, explain what the reduction does.

Hi Steve, Greetwell Quarry, near the Hospital. It's a pain to get too, but worth the trek. As for Nitros.... not sure, but there is a big area next to South Common (usually where the Fun Fair is).. that may be ok

Does look a nice little rig but if i may, i say you put it against to hard a test area, we all tend to think "Rock crawler" it will handle any thing but not the case, my 1/10 Ford f-150 would struggle on that
