I am praying for all the people there . Unfortunately the history of this whole region is so complicated that few people know what exactly is happening . I traveled twice to part of the Carpathian basin where quite a number of ethnic Hungarians live . The priest I travelled with was my former spiritual guide . He served there before going to Transylvania . I thought I have seen poverty in Transylvania where I was doing my volunteer work but I couldn’t believe the poverty that I saw in the lower part of the Carpathian basin . That area used to be part of Hungary before the Trianon treaty . Coming from Sydney Transylvania was hard enough to come to terms with . But this was much worse. I visited kindergartens etc . All we can do now to pray for peace in these areas , hope there will be no escalation to the war and when peace returns to help these people the best we can .

I’m reading this book just now and it’s bringing me to tears. I had no idea of the extent of Jesus’s suffering on the way to the Cross. I only knew the basics as in the Mysteries of the Rosary eg Agony in the Garden, Scourging at the Pillar, Crowning with thorns, Carrying of the Cross, and Crucifixion. Thank you Father. My mum being of Ukranian heritage told me about the 1987 apparitions. Our Mother warned of a terrible war in this generation, and urged the faithful to repent and pray. I remember being quite striken as a young Christian, that I was of the generation she spoke to. Our mother spoke to the people, and from memory did not refer to any nation by name. I stand to be corrected.

Thank You for sharing Father! I had wondered if there was a Catholic community there just the other day. I have been praying for the people of Ukraine, Russia and the world. Have also contemplated how not even that long ago it seemed as if we would never again face a cold war with Russia and suddenly its back on full tilt. As I expressed prayers and concerns to The Lord I felt peace and an assurance this will not escalate into a nuclear war. I place all my trust in the Lord. I also have to start praying for the western leaders as well. Signs are pointing to the lack of real diplomacy. I'm not sure we have much talent in that department like we used to back in the day. @@relaxednu Please show me in God's Word, where Mary is a "mediator". I've studied God's Word for 37 years faithfully and accepted ALL His inspired Word. Are you rejecting the Bible, Gods Word that says "There is ONE MEDIATOR between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus". Acts 4:12 Jesus was made the sacrifice for sin, Mary did not come down from the Father, like Jesus did, and pay our sin debt. Jesus Christ alone is the Savior.
