Wonderful example of how to teach. Of course, we all (or most of us) wish for a little more explanations on certain areas, but those we can find in another video. Great stuff

I’m in 9th grade and I’m photoshop and I gotta say. It is very hard to do something like this and in just under 20 minutes, like holy shit. It takes me more then 2 hours to get a perfect mask and shrink myself to make it look like everything’s bigger then me. Good job bro that’s clean as hell.

Well done video! TL;DR [ you have really shined at showing what is possible for compositing with this hamstrung version of PS!] I have been using PS since '96. I got an iPad Pro M2 delivered. Coming from a Surface Pro, I am fairly disappointed with the Adobe/Apple collaboration for a "Pro" device. That goes for LR CC, as well. It is what it is, right? The lack of documentation on these product versions is maddening. And, being able to search for specifics is brutal because of the name choices and changes from Adobe. I appreciate that you take the time to explain the process, without long, drawn out design choices. Concise and informative! Do you happen to know of a way to copy a layer mask and paste it to another layer in PS Mobile (or whatever they are calling it, now)? Or, do you have to load as a selection, copy/paste to a new mask, likening back to pre CC/CS versions of PS Desktop? I edited out a lot of other stuff, it was getting too wordy. Still is. Sorry! I do like photoshopping on a tablet. I wish Apple would have allowed for a more Surface Pro like feel all around on these. But, Kudos to you for your teaching technique, and learning to navigate this workaround product. Liked and subscribed, my man!

Great video. It helped me a lot. If i place an object that I removed the background I get a harsh edge. I want the item to not looked like it was placed but to blend with the background. Is this possible with Photoshop on the iPad? Thank you.

One last very very subtle trick for the future... once you are all done, apply a very subtle bit of fisheye to the whole image, which will make it look like a real photo that was taken. #uncannyvalley

Yeah, like how did you get 8 layers to begin with? Import? From where? Can you send images fro Lightroom.? I’ve really searched for beginning tutorials on Ps for iPad, but they are all geared for people who already know Ps for desktop and assume lots of background knowledge... If you are after more audience, might be a great way to gain subscribers if you start with a total noob tutorial on Ps for iPad...

Hello, I need help with something. I'm using an iPad pro M2 and I'm an amateur photographer, I process the raw files I took in lightroom and save them to the gallery at 15 MB resolution when I export them. Later, when I open these 15 MB photo files in Photoshop, make a few simple corrections and export again quickly, the resolution drops to 900 KB and the image quality drops, I couldn't figure out where I went wrong. I'm an extremely uninformed user, by the way, do you have any knowledge of photoshop, I need help, thank you very much.

Genuinely don't know how you do it, it's obviously emense natural talent. I've tried for god knows how long to learn the basics and it is just impossible. Far too complicated for me. I've given up and cancelled my subscription. Every single little thing I try to do just doesn't work the way I want. I've given up on this compositing stuff, just too hard.

Whichever content creator can answer “how to literally put one photo next to the other photo for a “how it started, how it’s going” on an iPad will have approx. 200 million views because it can’t be found.

Does anyone know if you can photomerge with iPad & ps? I’ve been searching a great tool for stitching panoramas...any input would be great
@AppDesignTips4 жыл бұрын
Not automatically, yet... you can create a custom canvas like 10x30 then bring all the layers in and use the transform tool to do this manually. But not near as great as a one or two click option you get with photoshop on the desktop.

It's looking really good. My big question now is, are all the icons on the screen NEEDED? Adobe has a 'habit' and throwing every bloody thing on the UI. I wonder if this will kill them in the long run as competitors step up on touch displays. A good example is, once you are in the magic wand tool, all the other tools could go away, and only show really important things like changing marque size, etc. or even esc modes to get to other connected features.
@AppDesignTips5 жыл бұрын
I personally like the tools showing makes for fewer taps as you jump between tools. Shortly they will introduce a full-screen mode that hands and shows as you desire but compare this with procreate which is the best paint app for iPad and I have a difficult time with procreate tapping in a few times to get the desired feature you need. I actually think procreate solved some of this in their latest release a few weeks ago by allowing some tools and panels to stick to the screen.

Right off the bat, not explaining how to use the marking tool or even what is it (didnt even start with how to put multiple photos for the same project). And why the hell do we need a marking tool instead of just being able to instinctively drag an image where to go? (Like Mix did).
