You are a 6+ foot immortal viking with a greatsword, fighting in an icy desert next to a crashed Viking Longboat (which is also on fire) surrounded by the frozen mummies of your Viking comrades, beating a man to a bloody pulp with your greatsword, while Narwhals surround you and your flaming longboat and a barbaric Viking choir chants for your victory in the background. This is the most metal thing I've ever seen.

well, he isn't a viking. According to the official story he was created over 10,000 years ago, predating vikings by a HUGE amount. He may have lived among the vikings for a few hundred years during his long life, but he is basically an early Germanic caveman. He would have been alive before farming was a thing. He would have seen creatures that are long extinct today. He ate mammoth meat and fought off saber tooth cats and short faced bears. And his sword, which was created along side him, would have been the ONLY hardened steel tool/weapon in existence for at least 7,500 years. He was the only human being on the planet with blue eyes for at least 3000 years. He was alive before the ancient Egyptians, the Greeks, the Roman empire, etc. He outlived them all and probably participated in each. He watched as the human race went from disjointed tribes of hunter/gatherers to colonies of farmers, to settlements, to city states, to kingdoms to empires to the governments we have today. He's seen technology progress from sharpened stones tied to sticks, all the way up to the internet and smart phones of today. He has learned languages that no longer exist, and lived in countries and cultures forever lost to history. He doesn't even pursue relationships anymore because to him, every other person is just a tiny blip in his unending life. He was created by the gods for the soul purpose of destroying another god and has lived for over 10,000 years waiting to fulfill that purpose. I think that is far more metal than some burning boat and a few bloated corpses.

God, I just love how Tusk's original appearance from *Killer Instinct 2* (or his past) slowly fades in as that little nod to his classic theme kicks in.
