This trail is classified as easy and is a unique experience suitable for the whole family. The starting point is the mountain station of the Wasserauen-Ebenalp cable car. From there you walk 400 m until you reach the Hermit Cave. From there it goes to the Altar Cave and on to the historic Äscher-Wildkirchli mountain restaurant.

Ebenalp - Schäfler - Seealpsee - Wasserauen

A fantastic descent hike below the Alpstein. It begins at the mountain station of the Ebenalp cable car (1,640 m) and leads along gentle paths to the Schäfler mountain inn (1,924 m) and the Schäfler summit (1,925 m). Then the steep descent begins over the Altenalp to the beautiful Seealpsee (1142 m) and along the Schwendebach to Wasserauen.
