iPhone SE - Complete Beginners Guide

Thank you for your presentation. I'm a senior who has for may years used an Android phone. Until two days ago I've never owned nor used an iphone . This video assumes that folks have previously had an iphone, and as such is useful for folks who are somewhat familiar with iphones. It is not for beginners. The presenter seems to know his subject and keeps jumping from topic /feature to topic/feature, which made it difficult for me to follow his presentation. I've decided to buy a Beginners Guide so that I may (hopefully) follow the instructions in a step-by-step fashion, and to keep my own "pace".

I am a senior too. My last (hand me down) was an android phone. Just got my Iphone SE 3rd generation beginning of this month. It's ridiculous that you have to buy a Beginners Guide.(now I am wondering ) why they don't come with the purchase of the phone. I am going to start enquiring.

I can't find a single YT video that shows me how to set up my first (secondhand) iPhone. I want something slow and clear - none I've looked at do this! Any ideas?

I do thank you for the video. Good info. Unfortunately you make the same assumption that many video producers do. I do not have any previous Apple devices. You assume I do. I stopped the video around the 5min mark. Please, if you are going to make a video for a beginner, then make one, Do not call it "complete beginners guide" and then jump into what you have done. If you had actually started from scratch and made an actual "beginners guide" I would have been delighted. Be well.

Good information but you talked so fast, which was irritating. I did stick with it though. Wish you'd time stamped it though as would be good to go back & listen to sections but i don't have the patience or time to manually search.

Beginner = How to make it a working telephone first. Carriers? Plans? What is the phone number? How to make and answer calls? How to hang up!

Carriers and Plans is pretty much impossible to fully explain as it is highly situational depending on what country you live in....

A MagSafe sticker or case will give you MagSafe charging. NeuralCam and Focos apps will give a lot of the missing camera tools, ie boca and night shots.

You need to time-stamp subjects in your Description. About 96% of you "tech pros" are shockingly incompetent, and I'm not about to risk sitting through ANOTHER long vid to find out, say, that what you have in mind by "creating folders" is ONLY app folders. Get time-stamps, THEN perhaps I'll watch.

This is NOT for beginners!!! Also : He talks WAY TOO FAST!! Like he just had 10 cups of Black Coffee! S-L-O-W IT DOWN!!!!! Also, don't assume that people who watch this already have I-Phones! This is my first! And how about some Chapter Captions at the bottom? That would be very helpful! Btw, I have a few Beginner Guides and they're truly AWFUL!!! Each and every one of them, that's why I'm trying to, fruitlessly, find a decent Beginners tutorial on KZbin. So far I've come up empty handed.
