Sheila you are a woman after my own heart. You still measure salt as a pinch, a two finger pinch, not quarter or even half teaspoon, and you don't leave lots of stuff behind in the mixing bowl. I guess like me you remember times that were not so plentiful and the need to make the most of everything. The crumbles do look good. I have never added strawberries to a crumble but I will now. And evaporated milk is a great alternative to custard, especially in summer, although nothing beats hot custard in winter.

Sheila that looks yummy but there is nothing better than a little bit off vegetable route under your fingernails for when your making a crumble hope your going to have some ice cream with that Sheila wash hands before you make your crumble you do put a smile on my face thank you xx
