The crusher is meant for apples, pears, berries, vegetables and other fruit crushing. By the use of an external engine the price of this model is similar to manual crushers, however the raw material is not crushed manually.
Inside the oak housing there is a stainless steel cylinder with a grater, like for potatoes, only the grinding elements are several times bigger. Such grater allows to grind the raw material into small pieces, almost to the state of porridge, and at the same time the seeds remain intact. The porridge, got with the help of the crusher, is good for pressing and crushing degree provides the best juice yield. Before crushing the apples must be cut into 4 pieces in order to be grasped by the crushing cylinder. Crusher’s productivity is 1-2 kg of apples per minute.
Bushings made of friction plastic.
Crusher’s bushings are made of special friction plastic which allows to reduce friction and wear of the shaft to a minimum. At the end of the shaft there is a hexagon adapter so that it can be securely fixed in a drill chuck.
Choosing a drill.
It is necessary to use a powerful and desirably professional drill or a perforator in the drilling operation to set in motion the crusher. For example, you can use Makita HR2450FT with a cam chuck. This drill will keep the load well and will not overheat.
Practical construction.
To get started, secure the crusher with 4 clamps between two benches and set the container to collect the crushed apples at the bottom.
