So glad he decided to fight for his inheritance rights. What a dreadful so called mother
@joninapepperell1151Ай бұрын
Why would you fight for an inheritance if it's not given to you? I would have simply said, "Thank you for your honesty regarding how you view me as a member of your family. Since you do not value my worth as such, I will take my leave of this family." They would not be worth my time and my dignity to fight as I will know I'm a billion times better than them materialistic vultures x
@heatherwarner865Ай бұрын
Nah...you say all of that and still fight for your portion unless you live somewhere you can't. Some places as long as you leave $100 they can't contest the will. Happened to my fam.

I am my father's third, and my mother's first, literally a middle child. Five of us total. None of us are treated differently based on age succession. Also, Sandra saying her DiL isn't family hits a little too close to home for me. My grandmother said the same thing to my mother, after all the time and money she sacrificed along side my father after my grandfather and uncle passed away.

Although I do not agree to favoritism in a family, you cannot control people, and when it comes to their possessions and inheritance, it is up to the individual, whether you think it should be divided differently, it is not your call.

How old are spme of these people? Are they too lazy to do their own errands.

Janet is just a bit too to volatile when she hears about Sandra's will. Sandra could make additions to her will later. But Sandra doubles down by letting Janet know how little she means to the family. Dumb! Sandra has made a collosal mistake!

There is no such thing as grandmother in-law, is there? 😮
@Tracie.....Ай бұрын
Of course there is. If I married then my grandparents would be my wife's grandparents in law. At least that's how it is where I live.
@shawnycoffmanАй бұрын
Yes, there is. At least here in the south. My husband's grandmother was still alive when we got married and she was my grandmother-in-law.

Why was op so invested and insisted husband gets a piece of inheritance. He said he was fine without it.
@LoveOnTheInsidex3Ай бұрын
Because he didn’t want to fight with his mom it sounds like until OP helped him
@jobuck879Ай бұрын
@@LoveOnTheInsidex3 It’s more than that. He was treated like he didn’t matter practically his entire life. His mother doted on the first born, she treasured his sister because she was the baby. How can people not see how that mother basically ignore him as if he was never born?? OP was more upset that she was being used and was told she isn’t family more than him not getting any inheritance.
@LoveOnTheInsidex3Ай бұрын
@@jobuck879 I agree !

Exactly the inheritance was none of her business plus inheritance is not a right to any of those kids. Op just sounded money hungry for money that's not hers. If they get divorced she gets none of it anyway.

I was the youngest of 5, and it was nothing like being the typical stereotype. I was the one who got blamed for everything. Older siblings said I did things that they had done and being the baby, it was my fault as I wasn't as mature as the others. I'm now 47 and been in therapy often to deal with past trauma.
