I just bought this phone. Upgraded from an iPhone 7,never felt the need to upgrade since the 7 was doing everything I needed it to do as a reliable phone. But once I started using the 13 pro max, I instantly noticed the huge difference on how smooth and fast it responds. I’m also a photographer and this camera upgrade is by far the best I’ve seen on a phone. I won’t upgrade from the 13 pro max like I did with the 7 🤣 iPhone 19 pro max plus super sayian I’ll see you then.

I’m getting 2 days of battery life out ofy 13 Pro Max with around 10-17% left and 7-9 hours of SoT. 15.2 Beta 3 is optimised like crazy. The 13 Pro Max is the best a candy bar design phone can be.

As expected the 13 Pro Max is massive device so as the battery. For power users this will be a good fit. I got the 13 pro and its is great! When you mentioned how you notice the 120HZ more on Android than iPhone, I felt vindicated. I compared my 13 Pro with my coworkers Fold 3 and his seems much smoother when swiping and scrolling. I hope this is some sort of bug that Apple fixes. I was expecting the Samsung smoothness when going for the 120Hz iPhone.

It's because iOS animations are slow. On Android you can even choose to make those animations more snappy. Slow animations are also what makes the 60Hz displays of iPhones look better than 60Hz displays of Android phones. All Apple needs to do to make the iPhone 13 Pro's 120Hz display to look smoother and faster is to make the animations on the Pros faster.

In some pictures 13 pro max appears darker than 12 pro max ..by quite a bit, even it was a night mode...very odd; some videos, the image was a bit blurry: was it the front facing camera or the main one?

the spigen magsafe charger is only 7.5 watts. the official apple magsafe charger is faster and charges at 15 watts.

Great video! Must say it doesn’t surprise since all your videos I’ve watched are awesome. I must say I prefer the regular 13 since here in Europe the difference between the regular and the pro (normal, not Max) is 250€, which is around 290 USD (VAT included) which I don’t think is worth for what you get (the 13 pro is 1.159€, around $1.310…). And I prefer the regular size vs the Max, seems impossible to carry in any pocket… thx for the review!

Do you notice a red tint or pinkish tint on the screen when using dark mode with 50% below brightness and opening apps with grey background like youtube, notes, composing a message, and on the settings general about? You can check it on a low lit environment.

Great video. I think a lot more people like macro photography then you think. I myself love it on the S21 Ultra. And in the last I used to attach a lens to my phone for that feature. I think since iPhone 4 I've been able to do macro photography

The battery life was pretty good but from everything I've heard I was expecting better. Only 13 hours off the charger and 6.5 hours of screen on time and the only battery intensive thing was the camera. Hardly any streaming video and no music, games or phone calls so probably no Bluetooth headphones either. Also no games. Closer to 8 hours of screen time and 16 hours off the charger would be ideal. On my heaviest usage days I'd still have to bring a portable battery and USB cable in my pocket. 😔

The 120 hz is overhyped by the Android crowd. You won’t sense or notice that much when navigating/scrolling thru the UI sense iOS is already really smooth. You will notice on gaming but the will scale down as they processor begins to heat up.

My biggest issue with ALL iPhones starting with the 4 model is the damn blue dot that’s always racing around in videos… i’m a TikToker & I use my phone camera to record almost everything ..I’m a ghost hunter and when I run up on a house I’ve never explored it’s very convenient to have the camera that is on my phone.. most all my videos are spur of the moment and 99% of the time I’m at work so I can’t carry my DSLR everywhere I go, in fact the iPhone is just about all I use anymore.. I know it’s kind of off-topic but I wished I could find something about it, something to maybe correct it..

As someone who has used this phone for some time now, I’m just going to say that I am not a huge fan of the 3x lens. It’s definitely not as sharp as the others, and it has some issues with focusing. All of the lenses have issues focusing for that matter, especially when taking a picture in a mirror. The ‘Deep Fusion’ processing is also not good, it makes every image that you take look noisy and flat. I’ve been honestly disappointed by the images produced by this phone, it feels like a downgrade from the 12 series. I don’t believe it’s the cameras themselves, rather the heavy software intervention that’s the culprit, but unfortunately Apple removed the toggle to turn off Smart HDR in the settings.

Look at... 15:02 in my opinion night mode is much more better on s21 ultra and the pixel 6 pro. But what a surprise that the 12 Pro max have much more better night mode than the 13 Pro max !!!!. I respect apple the are great company and they make very luxurious phones,tablets,watches and other products,but in my opinion they are trying to make more money with a real development on their products. I have Samsung note 20 ultra,z flip 3,s21 ultra and pixel 6pro in my opinion they are all better than the iPhone 13 pro max
