I my self surprised im still hold to my Jan2020 Note10lite. As i usually change android flahship every year. But since my Note10lite exynoz works like charm. So ill still use it with my 2nd phone the 12mini

Still using my 12 since launch, at 91% battery health and I can still get through a day with light to moderate use. Never thought to consider to the 13 despite the leap in battery life, and everything else is pretty much the same. Hopefully the 14 brings bigger changes since I'll likely upgrade by then.

Same here . Using the standard 12 (red as in the video) and I get through a day . I have a feeling after ios 15 update my battery life in standby has been bad on 4G . On Wi-fi it's the same as 14.8 . I still get it through a day but I can feel the difference . Mine is at 91 % battery health too :D Hope they add 90 hz or even 120 next year to the standard 12 series . If not , I'll be forced to jump ships to Android . Ain't gonna pay 700-750 euros again for a phone with 60 hz display . Yea , iOS is optimised but ain't gonna take it over 90/120 display . I don't wanna spend like 1000 euros just to get Pro Motion display ...

I would be honest, I upgraded from the 11 normal to 12 because of the screen. Yes it was a huge difference but battery isn’t that great as well. For me if I were to upgrade this year, I would go straight for the pro models. I am just going to wait for next year as I am pretty sure all models will come with pro motion.

I was dissatisfied with the battery life for the first few days until I did one simple trick that I haven’t heard anyone mention: Switch to LTE. Take it off 5G. I did this and battery life is excellent. Nearly lasting 2 days with casual use.

Most of the "new" features from iOS 14 is just apple putting their logo on features that have been launched and perfected by other companies (namely Samsung and Google). iOS 15 is also full of copycat google features like Live Text and 3D Maps which doesn't come close to Google Lens or Google Maps

Hey, there is a problem that needs proper coverage. The notification sound volume at maximum is considerably less than the ringtone volume. Go to audio and set your ringtone to Apex then do the same thing for the text tone and listen. Much softer. I just got a 13 pro and this is frustrating as when the phone is in my pocket I simply don’t hear my messages coming in. Also the email tone I have selected is different from what sounds when I get an email on the Gmail app. Cannot seem to be able to change it… Never had this kind of problems with my S10+… I will return the iPhone if not solved within the next week.

The 13 replaces the 12. There's no price increase and there is only a price decrease for the 1 year old model. The question for consumer to ask is if paying the normal price for the latest version is worth it or not. It depends where you are in the world and the strength of your currency. $100 difference might not be that much for some (after conversion), but for others it might be quite a considerable amount. As a consumer, you'll just have to put the price difference against what you are gaining with the latest model. Things to consider other than battery life, would be what are you gaining in the long haul, not immediate difference today. I always see reviewers, like Jaime, to be short-sighted when it comes to making these comparisons. On the 13, you get the latest processor, think of it as you'll gain +1 year OS upgrade support over the 12. That means you'll be able to hold on to it for longer, or it will be easier to sell compared to the 12. Then the camera stabilization is improved. It may not be dramatically different now, but consider the future software updates that you'll be getting. Assume that more focus will be given to the sensor-stabilization as this becomes the staple in future iPhones. The long term difference may get bigger. This is how you should make comparisons and you may apply the same thinking for the other features/specs. Then decide for yourself if what you are gaining in the long term is worth the price difference. For me, if I am in the market to upgrade, I will seriously consider the 13 despite the price difference. I think in the long term, I gain enough to justify the price difference. But for now, there is no reason to upgrade from my current XR. I think 15 will be the time when I will upgrade :)

It’s not hard if you have Pro. Do you want the smoothest display with 120hz, slightly better camera, and better battery? Upgrade. The 120hz being the best upgrade imo. Love it. Also Apple will give you $790 for your 12 Max Pro. 👍 The extra battery is nice but it’s only really a few hours more because 120hz uses more power. Plus not really even noticeable if you’re someone who use wireless charging often. The 120hz is something you notice every time you use the device. 👍

@CGGS_Gaming Yea, no. Not me. Battery life was already good on 12 Pro Max. Myself, and a lot of others, have a been waiting for 120hz Promotion since 2017 when it was on iPad Pro. 👍

@CGGS_Gaming I actually agree . I opted for the pro for the battery life myself . I personally don’t see a difference between 60 and 90Hz (again I’m not into tech that much as some ppl are) but def a difference between 60 and 120. But I’d be happy to take a 5-10% discount in exchange for removing the 120Hz option . I just don’t care for the Hz , but yeah battery life is vital dude . I bought the Sony xb900n and it took like 6hours to charge em to get 30ish hours so I shifted for Sony 1000xm3 which take just 2hrs approx for a 24hr ish on time . So like If I charge the 1000xm3 for 10min I get 4-5hours while from the xb900n I was getting 1-1.5hr out of 10min charge . Battery life makes a huge difference

@CGGS_Gaming I personally prefer premium audio quality and only competition for that category I would put Sony or Bose at best . Edifier is no where close to it , but maybe for some people who don’t value the audio quality “as much” , it’s a good option . The battery is great but everything else is mediocre in my opinion and experience. And that’s a deal breaker for me . I’d rather have the premium audio experience for 40hours I personally can understand people going for earbuds as many like them . But for me , proper over the ear headphones just sound way more premium and satisfying Also having a headphone jack isn’t a big deal as most wireless headphones would probably have usbtypeC . I’m upgrading the xm3 for xm4 soon anytime now . But what I was trying to say was , battery matters a lot in tech for many people while refresh rate doesn’t that much .
