For those who wonder how to turn off automatic dim: In accessibility click display and text size, scroll down, then turn off Auto Brightness. PS: I tried this on the iPhone 14 pro max so it does work on that model and I think every other model

I think the automatic dim that he is experiencing is just in the system. The reason why it dims automatically is because the phone is trying to reduce overheating and further damage to the phone’s battery, since he is using the phone for extend amount of times. If you are wondering if you can turn this off, nope. Its just the system doing its job

@@peacegratitude2501 if you are not using a case then you should still reasearch but if you are, there isnt much point of a certain colour, i got grey and i never seem to notice it. A tip is to look up high resoultion photos of the diffrent colorways then see what fits you :)

if you want to prevent the phone from getting hot then you simply need to buy one of those cold breeze fan thingie that you can clip on the back of the phone. much like ROG variations has, but a different version for iphone/Samsung. there are different brands so give it a search and you might find one that will help reduce the heat during gaming sessions which in turn can help prevent the screen to automatically dim.

The screen dims automatically because there is a default setting called Auto Brightness. You can turn of off by going to Display & Brightness -> Auto Brightness and toggling it off.

Coming from Android user, I do admit that iOS software and performance seems better than Android. But due to how the phone works and how it limit the user experience, Android by far is the best phome for me because Android is free to customize the phone however the user like. I love the premium feel of the iPhone, I own 11PM my current device. But I feel so frustrated with the iOS more and more, whenever I want resetting the auto-brightness, I have to go through settings which in iOS 16.1 is less responsive to the touch, and then the faceID, it’s pretty inconvenient to use as motorcycles riding with helmet and mask on and just to check the hours on the phone it displays very slowly animations which takes more time to just check the clock! Last and the worst: the lock screen is SO ANNOYING ! I wanted to upgrade to 14PM but I felt unsatisfied with the iOS version more and more.
