A hello from Germany! I recently purchased the MacBook air M2 in the color starlight too and I´m totally happy about it since my old MacBook just sucked. 1:30 omg girl, rough times lol. Why didn't you just buy the mac when the HP stopped working? I think that's an enough reason to upgrade. I would've saved for half and then asked my parents for a loan. On a related note, I wish I would've invested in a Mac my freshman year instead of ordering an HP. My HP lasted me exactly 4 years and stopped charging the last 2 months before I graduated.

That computer will last you all day without needing to be charged and will take literally just over an hr to fully charge, don't worry about the cable length lol! Congrats on everything 👏
