THANKS FOR THE GREATE VIDEO .. I HAVE A A1286 PCB THAT ALMOST SHOWS SIMILER CASE .. I'm completely faced with this defect and I haven't been able to resolve it. It doesn't have 5V or 1.35V... They keep varying, the cooler rotates and stops... Could you give tips on which vital points to resolve, I'd appreciate it... There's no need to enable the TPS51125, injecting 4.20V into the line 5V TPS51125 heats up but it's not, I already changed it, the same thing continued.

SETH I'm having same problem, my mac was working perfectly and I left it to go out coming back everything was blank. If I plugged in charger charging light will come up also battery status light by the side will give me battery status, but it will never power on, can this be battery aswell? Because condition before was change soon. I remove the battery and plugged in charger to power it on also no power. Can I get new battery and try it or the problem is what you just fixed now?

Better check the requirements and also if there is shorting in the motherboard

only with the replacement of R7005 worked?, because later on the video i didnt see the apple icon on the screen and didnt heard the boot sound, i am not sure if it worked.

This is most usual problem in this model and no relation with display it works fine with battery but problem with charger. I hope this will help you. Thanks for your concern.

@@laptex1377 Im a little confused on what you mean. Did the logic board work properly only when connected to battery, or did it not work with battery and charger? EDIT: Im having the same issue and fans turn for maybe 3 seconds then stop. and repeat.

I got an A1342 that comes on with no display and solid sleep light. Fan spins and after maybe 10 seconds, it speeds up and power is cut. It will then reboot on its own and this time the fan will speed up again. Only this time, the machine will not power off. It will stay on with no display, sleep light lit and fan on max speed. This is when plugged into MagSafe charger. First power up always causes a reboot and the second time it stays on with the same symptoms. If I do the same with just the battery, it will do the same, but continuously reboot just as the fan speeds up. Under battery, it cannot stay on. Any idea what might be the cause here?

Try to clean ME region of the BIOS in the system if it works fine then no problem. Else try to check the DC-DC run section.

@@laptex1377 Unfortunately, the issue is the ISL9504 BHRZ chip I think. I was feeling around the board and as I put my finger over that chip, boy did I feel that. It gets insanely hot very fast when I power the machine up. Something bad is going on there given the amount of heat being produced by that chip. I don't have any soldering skills or equipment, so unfortunately can go no further. I just wanted to figure out what was wrong and whether it was actually the board. Looks like it is.

Resistor was open of that point where charging ic supply gets in i replaced the resistor only.
