It's getting increasingly harder to choose amongst the three most popular music streaming services today. In this video, I will break down the user experience from my standpoint and explain which features I like and dislike.

We're going to be taking a look at the three most popular Titans of the music streaming service industry Spotify KZbin and apple music right crazy enough we live in a time where almost everything is subscription based now and it gets harder and harder every day when these money hungry corporations leave us no choice but to choose which music service industry we should be going to anyways there's a lot to talk about amongst all three services I'm going to break it down for you easily this includes all my experience and opinion on the UI the algorithm features the sound quality the website app and if you just want to hear my answer to which I like the best right now well my Spotify student plan recently expired cuz I'm no longer am a student I graduated my University just a few months ago they were giving me that sweet $4.99 deal a month but since that expired I've been jumping back to Apple music and KZbin using their free trials and I have used Apple music before for a good year so I've been all over the place and if I were to renew again I'd probably go with Spotify and that's only because there's a few teeny tidy reasons that made me choose that over the other two which I'll tell you why I think at the time of this recording it's like $10.99 across all three if you have the individual plan I think the best strategy if you want to save a lot of money is to get the family plan which you can add up to six people and that's going to cost you around $16.99 and if you can get all six people on board the cost can get as low as like three bucks a month which is an absolute steal the problem is with that though is well you got to get a lot of people on board and you got to have one that's like the designated spender and at the end of the month I don't know maybe pay them and venmo them who knows so ask your friends family roommates anyone close by that you trust because we got to make our way somehow and these family plans are pretty good so I'm bringing out the red iPhone 11 out today all right isn't she beautiful all three streaming services are going to look a little bit similar with some slight design differences

I have used Spotify and KZbin music.. and i personally choose KZbin Music... It has way more songs, and it never removes any songs unlike Spotify. Also you can watch Music videos whenever you want to in youtube music + it's connected to your KZbin account. The one criticism i have from KZbin music is they dont let you choose icon for your playlist.. the playlist look so ugly on KZbin music. And if you want to save any artist you need to subscribe them which also subscribes them on KZbin which sucks. On the other hand Spotify is great for playlist but it keeps removing songs. And it's shuffle is broken and doesn't recommend you any new music out of your taste.

ytm is overrated af. it doesn't have search within playlist in 2024 lol. youtube integration is annoying because it mixes both of video playlist and ytm playlist. ytm's pc browser performance is slow af. conclusion: I don't recommend ytm

Ytm is for those who listen a lot a compilations or music remix like slowed and speed up and spotify has better plans,quality,features still i use both for different things for listening music spotify for listening slowed or speed up versions of songs pr compilations yt music

@@ken6231 I had Spotify premium, for almost 2 years. The selling point was the ability to play offline. I like podcasts and enjoy music. I can curate my own playlists, im just not sure of which subscription would be the best for me. I can find every song that I can imagine on regular KZbin. Lately, I haven’t been able to play most in the background….., but I just turn the brightness down for my screen and keep a charger while at work.

Absolutely impossible choice: Spotify has the best recommendations and works perfect everywhere. Apple Music has the best sound quality. KZbin has the largest library and the best price if you are interested in KZbin Premium.

I use all three in different ways I love how intuitive Spotify is with suggestions, but Spotify and Apple playlists are a little tight for my preference & Apple doesn’t suggest much beyond main stream hits. So I use YT for discovery, Spotify when I’m collaborating on playlists or just want music going and don’t want to have to worry about skipping stuff I don’t like. Then once I nail down my playlist I love to compile it in Apple. I also go straight to Apple when I know exactly what I want to listen to.

Well, as someone with budget conscious, I use KZbin music in my iPhone 15 Pro Max over spotify, apple music or amazon music etc because I’m subscribed to youtube’s family premium package so the youtube music just comes as a bonus to use. And c’mon…not only is every music available on Yt music but also every movies & remix that people posts on youtube is available to listened to and we can just switch between video/mp3. For example sometimes, I listen to my favourites, my fav artists while on nights, I listen to meditative music and youtube has tons of options in terms of music, remixes, meditating & other videos.

Apple music has been pissing me off. A bunch of my songs are hit with "The song is currently unavailable in your region" (Paraphrasing). The worst part is that when I have my music on shuffle in the car and one of these unavailable songs pop up, the music just stops. 5 years ago I would've said spotify, but now Apple music has more to offer as a dedicated music app. You got music videos, the lyrics intigration is much better then spotify, karaoke now a really dope feature, and all the features they've added on top of that like collaberated playlists, shareplay ect.. And now the algorithm has been vastly improved like it literally can't be understated how much better it is, and the playlists created by actual people is nice. Spotify is lagging behind at this point and honestly I don't think they are going to improve they're music experience because 1 it aint profitable for them, and 2 they're subscribers seem to be happy with what they already offer lmaoo. I mean they promised hifi for like 2 years now, and they pushing audiobooks with the premium sub 😂😂

Android user here, Apple music works great on my Samsung Galaxy! However, just yesterday I got sick of KZbin bullying me with Ads and signed up for premium, nice having YT music with that so no point in paying for Apple Music anymore 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm not sure if that was the same for everybody, but I used Apple Music for a 6 month trial and the app itself ran much worse than Spotify. Occasional crashes, sometimes the buttons just weren't working, the search function didn't search. I used an iPhone, which made it even crazier to me. You'd think that first party apps are better optimized but that wasn't the case.

As an Apple Music user (and using Spotify on the side) the only real downside for me specifically is that Apple Music does not have seemless music transition between devices. If I am playing music on my Phone and want to switch to my PC, this would be seemless with Spotify and Apple Music simply doesn't have that. Additionally, the only reason why I truly only still use Spotify is for local files because I don't want to have my local files in my main library on Apple Music. The dealbreaker for me is simply that a lot of songs are not on Spotify due to the low royalties they pay out to their creators and Apple Music simply has better audio quality.

Because i watch KZbin constantly, I wanted an ad free experience, especially when i play music videos on a big screen TV for guests during a party. KZbin Music was a no-brainer for me, considering it's free with my KZbin Premium account. Oh, and THANK GOD it has the simplistic Google design and feel. I'm not a fan at all of the bubbly and hip design for Spotify and Apple Music, so it's a win-win for me.

@@TheCultOfShepard I feel you on that. It's super annoying when videos on KZbin have that forced volume reduction. It's like, give me some control over the volume, will ya? Ain't too much to ask, is it? But hey, at least the audio side of things lets you crank the volume to max without any restrictions. That's something, eh?

Liked & subscribed. Apple Music podcasts are so unstable, it just continues to crash. Since we already pay for KZbin Premium, I looked to KZbin Music for podcasts. To my surprise, many of the podcasts I like, are available. Any suggestions on how to get Apple Music to stabilize? I plan to go to the Apple Store next week, if I can’t resolve it before 6/24/24.

Good job on this video. You're making videos like you got a million subscribers. KZbin Premium is actually really nice, but there is an odd catch that isn't brought up. If my kids are watching cocomelon on the TV and I have KZbin Music going, KZbin will stop my music stating that a device is already playing music. Cocomelon is viewed as a song, even when running on the youtube app on my chromecast. However, if youtube is playing a non-music video, I have no issues listening to music. Food for thought.

I just got an s24 ultra and it had Apple Music redownloaded and it looked exactly the same as what you showed. I’ve never heard a quality difference between any service. I use KZbin music because it has the KZbin service fully featured and I can listen to the podcasts and music I’ve liked over the years

I’ve had Apple Music for over a year now and it’s been my main only cause I get it for free through my cellphone carrier. I miss having Spotify. My music library was greatly expanded when I had Spotify. The recommendations there were way better than what Apple Music has “ recommended “.

Spotify seems to only serve me the same 100 songs over and over, no matter which new playlist I try or which "radio" I listen to. The reason I am watching this is because I am shopping around now. Either YT Music or Apple Music. I suppose I already have YT Premium which gets me YT Music...

Honestly apple music is worth for students or family, but if you are travelling often/ living in different countries you cannot use family sharing and have to change region in appstore every time. In that case spotify is best. For youtube users, premium is worth it; you get ads-free and YT music.

After using Spotify since it ws made available so many years ago I just switched to Apple Music and it's SO MUCH BETTER. The quality is noticeably better with Atmos and Lossless on compatible headsets and speakers. It even has music videos. I'm still getting used to it and I'll keep using both for the next month. I also have KZbin Music so that's great for even more cuts of each song, live performances etc.

I'll take lossless audio available at my fingertips despite where I'm at in the world over having to deal with polishing scratches and all the bullshit that physical media had. Why carry around a binder full of CDs when you can have every song you could ever want at your fingertips with lossless audio and all that good stuff. Sure, physical media had its downsides, but times have changed. Streaming services have won over the masses, buddy. So leave your CD collection at home and join the digital music revolution. I believe Spotify is the best music app on the market today. I have no doubts about that. But in terms of prices and advantages, KZbin is a big advantage. When you subscribe to KZbin Premium, you get ad-free KZbin and KZbin Music. We know that Spotify doesn't have videos other than music videos. KZbin's library is also superior. I still choose Spotify because it is better for music and has more interesting features, such as the most listened to songs in a year and having the option to create playlists based on the statistics of our musical choices.

I feel like this list is just "your gut feeling" rather than an actual review. You skipped over multiple features that are quite the deal breaker for me. For example, on Spotify you can listen to the Daily drive, where they'll make a new playlist every day for you mixing podcasts and songs you like and/or are aligned with your tastes for you to discover, which I've used as alarm clock for over a year now. IDK about the other 2 services but it just looks like you didn't name any of the relevant stuff for them either.
