Welcome to the wage gap not even kidding that is how the myth is partially, and partially because they choose different fields. A teacher should make as much as an astro physicist even if the teacher works 3 days a week and the astro physicist 7. Seerly because of vag. Your reaction is our reaction to the wage gap. ​@@susanhansen1290They do not make much in the US nowadays in K-12 grades. I am elderly boomer. When I was in 1-12 grades (no K in my state back then), my teachers made a decent living wage. They could support a wife and family if male. Nowadays, they have low wages compared to other jobs. It is sad that they are undervalued by US society. Not only undervalued, but schools and teachers at all levels are under attack by conservatives. All kinds of laws are being passed to restrict what teachers can teach in various states. We are going to end up with inadequately educated population. I have already read news articles about older teens who because unschooled by parents who do NOT know how to teach reading, writing, and math due to lack of training, now these older teens cannot read, write nor do even simple arithmetic. Education in the US is so messed up these days and teachers are underpaid. As my grandmother used to say, you get what you pay for: buy cheap, you buy twice a year. But it applies to education too. Pay low wages, you do not get the best teachers.

One thing I figured out a long time ago is this: If someone won't answer a question you ask, that is an answer. The real answer to the marrige proposal - if it's not "yes" after a couple days, then it's "no". One thing I often do: Me: *asks question ( usually a closed question )* Them: *don't answer* ( Pick the answer that makes them look the worst ) Example Me: "Okay, that is a 'no' then." Them: "I never said that." Me: "I heard a 'no'. You are free to change your answer."

Let me see if I can clear it up for you. They had dated for four years when he asked her if she would marry him. Five months after the proposal he contacts her and asks if she has an answer to his marriage proposal. She turns him down for the reason you heard and/or read. Three years after she turned down his marriage proposal she gets in contact with him and tells him that she will now marry him. I hope this explanation helps to clarify things for you.
