"Just lend me a little money - only $225K" That made me laugh :) I cannot imagine what it would be like to either have parents who could do that or kids I could do that for.

The couple need to act like adults. If they can’t afford a new place, then don’t get one. And what parents wouldn’t consider schools when planning a move?

Your husband is a gold digger!!! Stop paying any allowance to your MIL. You are being used by your husband. Open your eyes.

I used to borrow money from my parents once in a great while. $20 here. $10 there. Once I even borrowed $50 (to take my son to the doctor). I always paid them back out of my next paycheck and took them out for a simple lunch like burgers or pizza as a thank you. I would NEVER borrow the kind of money that got mentioned in this video. Pfft!

Seems a little unfair not to contribute towards thanks giving if you turn up every year and expect to be waited on hand and foot

If you wear running shoes for 6 years, that does nothing but create structural problems for your feet, then the rest of your body. But, a pair of running shoes would have fallen apart years before year 6.

You have to be a genius the cause problems were not exist. I know let's give $400 a month to the woman that can afford to lend a quarter of a million dollars out. Would that make you stupid you decide. There are so many things you can do to show affection to your parent pick the one thing that isn't going to matter. Give her something and do something for that doesn't matter. Show her how inconsiderate you are every month when you send the meanless money
@Orion-o7k3 күн бұрын
Kind of seems like the argument was brought up so she could see how her husband felt in comparison to how she felt so her mother-in-law... Ask for the co-workers it's just weird that people think because someone has worked harder and longer that they deserve to pay more into something.. seems to be lacking any common sense. I understand it be great to send back money to your loved ones and parents... But it's really strange to me that a monthly allowance is given us some entitled people is this normal?
