Why is Karina not in jail? Elder abuse is a crime. Especially if they are injured enough to require a hospital stay. Broken bones, oh no. She'd have been arrested right away.

Well, Karina, you are actually the oldest child. If you wanna believe in that, then you are the one responsible for taking care of your parents. Not your brother, even though your parents say because he is the oldest son. He is the only son but you Karina are the oldest child so if anybody is going to be taking care of the parents according to you, it should be you. I don’t think much of parents who expect their children to take care of them as they get older once again for the parents respect your children. If you treat them well chances are once you get older, they will give you some help just don’t expect them to do that because you raise them. It was your responsibility to raise them. And there is no way that EM because she is your sister-in-law should be treated like a slave. That’s another crazy thing your daughter-in-law and sister-in-law does not become your slave when she marries into the family. Whoever was doing all the housework in the cooking cleaning before you got a daughter-in-law is the same person who should continue to do that. And you, Karina divorcing your husband because you have a sister-in-law living with your parents, so you figure she would be your permanent babysitter. Give me a break grow up and get a job but you know what right now, Karina, you should actually be in jail. When you went on your drunken rage, and you saw your parents on the stairs, you push them both down the stairs, which is assault and also elder abuse because she pushed him down the stairs. So Seth you should tell your parents to charge your sister with assault and elder abuse. Then she won’t have to worry about getting a job because she’ll be fed and housed in jail, which is actually where she belongs. Seth, you and Emily moving out was the smartest thing you could’ve ever done and breaking ties with everybody. There is no way you should be responsible for going back and taking care of your parents while they are in the hospital. Once your parents are ready to be moved out of the hospital, they will need rehabilitation. Intense rehabilitation for your father after the broken hip and your mother for two broken wrists to learn how to use her hands again. So they will have to go to a rehab center to get all that therapy so there will be nurses at the hospital and nurses and therapist at the rehab place to take care of them. You do not have to do that. Em you and Seth go on and have a great life and just forget about the other three people and the way they treated you breaking ties with them is perfect.

Sounds to me that the parents are not in their right minds to be raising any childern of their own and the SIL is no better she shouldn't be able to raise kids either. The son and his wife is the most stable ones their is to that family and cut ties to a bunch of insane people.

The parents paid for the wedding.I understand that but you are not required to pay them back unless you have something in writing that says you would. In every culture it seems to be different. In some cultures it's the youngest daughter. In others it's the oldest daughter. And then, there's those that say it's the eldest son or eldest child. Karina should stop complaining about child support and paying for birthday and christmas gifts. She should also be forced to help with college funds
