Why in the world would anyone wait an entire day before calling the police on this MIL?

When did MILs get so powerful and when did daughter in laws accept their shenanigans? Dang I’d walk out immediately

In other countries this is normal. Still to this day. I'm glad I was born when/where I was.

It's not so much when as WHERE. Mils have always had huge power in Asia. This story being Apple is originally from Japan and in Japan (and China) traditionally the first time a woman ever had any real power was when her eldest son got married and she became a mil. It's her "job" to "train" the new wife and Japanese women enter the husband's family when they marry so the mother in law is to be treated with extreme respect, her every word obeyed and a lot of times the power goes to their heads and they become abusive. There's a reason why so many Japanese women never marry and why Japan is facing a baby shortage. It's even worse in other Asian countries: I heard that in India mothers in law have been known to throw petrol on unwanted daughters in law and set them on fire.

When she told me to shut up I would have slammed the phone down and blocked her. No one disrespect me like that.

Sneaky, Roy was sick of his mother and easily chose his wife over her.

A picture of the divorce decree would shut her down. If she wouldn't believe that, the courthouse has certified copies. Divorces are public record. Anyone can access it

Alrighty well who in there Normal Right Mind would take the time and banter back and forth with someone who just broke into their house, and NOT be calling the POLICE Right from Jump? But of course if the woman in this story did that it wouldnt be a very long drawn out story to entertain us with! Sometimes even go... 🙄 Or even 🤦♀️ at em.

She needs to call the police on her ex mother in law on her trespassing on her property. Why didn't the ex husband tell his mother about the divorce from his wife. Throw them both into jail for making an extra keys to his ex wife's house and giving them to others.
@chrismc410 Жыл бұрын
Why should the ex-husband get arrested? He had nothing to do with or had knowledge of his mother breaking in his ex-wife's house. In fact, she stole his keys. The father-in-law should pick his wife up.....from jail. Burglary is a felony, as is Destruction of Property over $200. Ex-MIL should be in prison for the next 5-10 years

Riiiiight...it is NOT COMMON to give all your belongings and money to the family~~ANY FAMILY!! WHAT'S YOURS FROM BEFORE THE MARRIAGE, IS **YOURS** ! Any other questions, take up with a lawyer~~first consults are usually FREE.

WTF I'm not even halfway through this story and I'm like come on give the ex DIL a loud voice and tell the Mil to get the hell out. But I hope it gets better. Yes finally she told her to get the hell out. The story did get better.😂

It's natural mom has a key? My mother nor anyone my family has a key to my house. They know showing up unannounced is a huge no-no. Only people who can are Law Enforcement and EMS with reason, warrant or probable cause and delivery people . Anyone else better announce themselves in advance for their own safety.
