If you are using a moving service, a lot of them will have a service that will provide a team to pack. They will wrap your belongings in paper sheets and put it in boxes. They guarantee no breakage. We here on the islands have that service for a fee. It’s very convenient. When the time comes that my daughter makes me move to her state, I will be using it. My stuff will be safe. I’m just thinking what to do first. Sell everything I don’t want and then bring it the packers or do it in reverse.
@ACCER Жыл бұрын
@@riley6740 It depends on what the stuff is worth where you are going and how much it costs to get it there. You are packing less and shipping less so it's cheaper. You just have to do the math on it based on packing/shipping v/s resale cost in destination. For what it's worth, it's almost always cheaper to sell than pack.
@riley6740 Жыл бұрын
@@ACCER That’s true. At my age, I will opt for the moving company to do it for me because I’ll have to move to Anchorage from Hawaii. I’ll sell things that I can buy again cheaper than moving them. Sadly a lot of "parents" don't get it that children are Individuals NOT a mini-Me Version of their parents or a customizable empty shell where they can choose what interests, gender, talents or sexual orientation they will have. They come out ready! The only 3 things parents can affect (not completely, but at least partial) is social behavior, health and social enviroment to grow up in.

Rebecca has neither the aptitude or the attitude to be a mother. Babies don't come with instruction manuals, nor is there a book on how to be a mum.. It's a BIG learning curve which both mum and baby learn along the way through trial and error. And the mum learning curve is constantly being updated with each child she has. This might sound very strange to say, but actually children can teach us a lot about ourselves and can often come out with advice and wisdom beyond their years.

For some reason I thought from what Rebecca implied(along with skimming stuff) that Henry was from a previous marriage or Kate was pregnant from a failed relationship & the relationship with Kevin went quickly. I dunno why I thought that but I realized that's not what happened when Rebecca accused Henry of not being biologically related to her brother. Rebecca is semi lucky her accusations about the affair wasn't true for herself despite the fact her husband is ready to kick her out. I want to imagine Kate & Kevin despite everything are on good terms with Rebecca's husband so the cousins can still hang out when the babies are there. Rebecca's husband does eventually divorce her & is able to prove he deserves custody instead of his wife so the child is safe from Rebecca & will be raised to be a proper person instead of whatever could have happened to the child if Rebecca infected them with her behavior/actions. Rebecca is on her own, can't use her child for attention & her family has cut ties with her cause they're tired of her behavior. Probably be funnier & fitting if it turned out Kate's second kid is a girl given everything.
@chibibar Жыл бұрын
So..... Rebecca is really narcassist because in normal observation when grandparents (her parents) dotes on Henry (grandson) and the parents (kate and their son Keith), in what world does Rebecca think she can just take in all of that even with a baby on the way. I mean, if the ONLY grandson was on the way and Henry was a girl, then "maybe" just maybe the family "may" switch over due to some family rules etc (you know the silly tradition of man takes everything and such) so Rebecca's recourse was to piss off the one person she want to talk to? (so far Mom has been avoiding her) right.. talking about "bitting the hand that feed you" scenario
