In this kind of situation, if a person has gone into your home while you are away without your permission, don't waste time talking to them, call the cops and tell them that the person who broke in is a known thief and may be stealing stuff. Idiots like this don't learn until they get arrested. Also for this idiot, never tell the person you're begging a favor from to "shut up" while asking for this favor.

It's pretty standard to have someone change department if they develop a family connection. And while it wouldn't be acceptable for his boss to talk to anyone about him, it isn't out of line for a colleague to talk about what's common knowledge in the office (rather than things which only can be known by his manager). So even though you're right and it takes some finagling with the timing, you can just barely make it viable by framing it as her talking about things that she found out about him from the office grapevine after he switched departments.

"But that's breaking and entering!" Quickly calls the police, while continuing the text conversation. "Oh, we're family, so it doesn't count." "Let me make this perfectly clear. You were NOT invited to my home. Now, please leave, and DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING WITH YOU THAT YOU DID NOT CARRY INTO THE APARTMENT, YOURSELF. NO T-SHIRTS. NO JEWELRY. NOTHING THAT IS MINE OR MY HUSBANDS. LEAVE NOW, WITHOUT "BORROWING" ANYTHING. YOU DO NOT HAVE OUR PERMISSION TO BE THERE, OR TAKE OUR STUFF." "Geez! Who spit in your Cheerios this morning? You don't have to scream! Anyway, we want to hang out and enjoy the views, so we'll just hang out and drink the beers and wait for you." "NO. You will LEAVE." "Nah. We want to stay. Anyway, hurry up and come home. We'll just give ourselves a tour of the place, while we wait for you." Some minutes later... "Why are there people pounding on the door and saying they're the police? Do you have some weird neighbors, or what?" "So, you stayed, just like I told you NOT TO DO. Well, I have it on record that you were warned to leave, and NOT take anything with you. So, that means that you WILL be searched and we'll have to watch the search via Facetime, because we are not in the country. But, even if you haven't yet 'borrowed' any of our stuff, never to return it, you WILL be charged with trespassing. Don't say I didn't warn you, because I did. In big, bold, screaming all-caps letters." "Wait. YOU called the police?!" "Yes, and if you don't open the door for them, they'll break it down, and then YOU will have to pay the repair bill, as well as any OTHER damages that might involve. And if someone else comes in the open door and steals stuff, because we're not there to fix it immediately, you'll cover THOSE costs, as well." "But, we're FAMILY!" "And family don't STEAL FROM EACH OTHER. Except YOU DO. You're a rotten thief. You and your husband. And as such, you have lost your familial privileges."

My ex and I rented our first house from his parents. He was a slob spoiled rotten by his mother He had never learned to wash his own clothes let alone put them in a hamper. He had a horrible habit of taking his clothes off The minute he stepped through the door he would drop things all the way to the phone in the kitchen and then all the way down the hall and into the shower It really ticked me off because I'm not his maid. I averaged 80 hours a week working as a nurse. I also worked in the staffing office and the minimum of 40 hours. I worked for two nursing agencies plus the hospital that I staffed at one time they had to send me home because in two weeks I had put in an 80 hours and they totally freaked because I wasn't supposed to be sleeping on the shifts and they knew I had as a patients would have told them. I had learned to survive I'm very little sleep and Excedrin caffeinated aspirin which now I can't take aspirin at all I'm allergic to it because I was in so much pain from the overwork and lack of sleep. The reason I had to work those hours is my ex didn't understand You can't go to the store write a check for $300 in groceries on your bank account Then go to the ATM and pull out another 300 when all you had in the bank was $400. He just couldn't equate the fact that the ATM Didn't know about the check yet. He was just a real fool. So he was constantly losing money to fees charges bounce check stuff Oh it was awful and he was horrible with his money. I was trying to save up to get us an apartment of our own because his family would walk in unannounced mother father it didn't matter which one and I might be in the shower and they had no problem opening the door It was awful. So finally one day as I'm going through this process just about the end of the two week. Knowing he's going to run out of clothes on Friday just in time for him to do laundry I could teach him everything he needed to do so he could spend the weekend getting his clothes clean in March's dad was a pretty nice guy didn't bother me too much his mother was the awful one but his dad starts screaming at me! How dare you let him just throws like this those lying around now if he had looked closer he would have noticed they were men's clothes not mine I didn't wear a blue uniform shirt or that kind of corduroy and I sure as heck didn't leave dirty underwear and socks laying next to the phone so you can imagine how disgusted I was with the situation. But how are you going to teach your slob to take care of things. I just stood there and listen to him and then I wait until he was done and I said I didn't do this You're sending this I've talked to him tell him blue in the face and it's not doing me any good so the only way I can get him to change is by not being his maid. He has refused to change his ways because his mother taught him that she'll do anything and everything for him and he doesn't have to grow up and be an adult. (Luckily she was not there.) I told him that I was willing to do the laundry even though it was a burden that I averaged 80 hours a week employed at a hard heavy lifting job taking care of dying patients as a nurse and that I didn't get to take a break sometimes because we were short-handed We were just beginning to AIDS epidemic and that I had to usually do double shifts whether I wanted to or not yet I came home and did all of the housekeeping all the cleaning cooking and on top of that the yard work because he refused to do anything as their son was too tired. I explained that within the next day their son would have no clean clothes all the way down to his underwear to put on and that would require him to either pick up his clothes and do the laundry or he would be bringing them down and having his mother do it and what were we going to see I would be very interested to know. His father had a realization Yes my wife is that way and yes my wife created this and no it wasn't going to be happening My son's not bringing his crap down to my house He's 32 years old and should be able to do his own laundry and shouldn't be shipping it off onto his wife who works her butt off. I guess my ex got the right act next thing I know he's coming home picked up his clothes sorted them all out and did his laundry including asking me did I have any whites that needed to go in with his under things? Oh did I have any colors that need to go in with his colors and did I need any Levi's washed to go in with the corduroy pants. Wow that was the nicest weekend I'd had in years. He never slept up again and never had to worry about picking up a dirty sock off the telephone to make a call. By the way yeah we didn't dress up and divorce because his mother just wouldn't let up she was awful sadly our managed only lasted 3 years He had a complete total mental breakdown He couldn't deal with his mother's harassment and constant meddling She literally sounded like these women did you hear in these plays and I listen to it and I think he just wasn't strong enough She really did destroy his life and he takes care of her to this day after his father died she had him come move in with her.

36:47 Not, "If you're not out of our house in one minute, I'm calling the police." Instead, type, "Thank you for your written confession of grand theft. I'm sure the prosecuting attorney at your criminal trial will make the most of it. Now, the police are already on their way. If they catch you, that's on you. But if they don't, well, we also told them your address. I suppose you two can try skipping town with only the clothes on your backs, or just live on the streets. Either way, I'LL BE HAPPY, because I want nothing more to do with you two THIEVES. Oh, but please do let me know if the police catch you. Tell you what. If they arrest you, you can ask me to post your bail." Later on. "Please post our bail!" "I said you can ASK. I didn't say I'd actually DO IT. You can rot in prison, you thief!" Seriously, though. NEVER WARN THE CRIMINALS YOU'RE CALLING THE POLICE. It just gives them time to escape. CALL THE POLICE EARLY, so that they are caught IN THE ACT! Don't beg and plead with criminals! They ordered a set meal for the guests, the restaurant should have put any additional orders on a separate ticket to the people who ordered it unless the host couple ordered it for them.

I wish for once the title matched the story. This is story 2 title. This girl isn’t trust worthy we find early on lying is never good especially starting a romantic relationship.

Good stories - great narration - ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE BACKGROUND NOISE ..... Please consider headphone wearers - thankfully I have open backed headphones but I still acquired a headache.

All these stories are exactly the same. Same nasty people, the same abused woman, and the same attitudes.

Please chill out on the really loud background music. It seems like a masking effort to keep from getting a copyright strike because it isn't your original audio...🤔. And I agree with. the person on those ending "hmph" giggles. that's a crutch stereotype you keep using to signal "THIS IS THE BAD GUY!!!"

0:45 Hi, Blah-Blah, riiiight? Oh, I'm good, Bloo-Bloo, RIIIGHT? Well, guess what? You know, Bob-Bob, rIgHt?!!!! No, but you will tell me, RITE?! It's almost as if, I dunno, all of these are written by the same person? A person who had the creativity and writing skills of a log. Riiiiiight? Seriously. Can you at least TRY to RIGHT these stories as if there is more than one way of communicating? Most people do not use this inflectve word this often, in this manner, or at the end of obvious statements that are framed as questions. And most people, unless they were raised together, don't have similar verbecular/conversational styles. WRITE?! This speaking pattern is reminiscent of a Gen Xer. It's very Clueless with the, "WhateverrrRRRR..." with the vocal fry. Or the exclamations, "Sike!" or "Not!" at the end of sentences. It's aging. Edit: spelling.

Third story. If you don't have a fever when I get home then I know you are slacking off. Also spend the night sick outside. Sean is a monster. I would have pulled those spark plug cables from his car for the morning. Since he views women as servants there is not a good future for him.
