Yeah the closer the pregnant woman is to giving birth the baby counts as murder if the baby dies in the stomach and outside as well that’s why so many people are carful around pregnant women especially around the 6 or so months

Sadly it depends on the jurisdiction that the crime was committed in because some places still don't acknowledge an unborn baby as a murder victim in cases like this. The law on the books in these places argues that to be a person the baby has to take a physical breath outside of the womb so the death won't count as murder of an unborn baby. There it would most likely be considered assault with grievous bodily injury resulting in traumatic miscarriage as a crime against the mother.

The problem with toxic people like Elsie is that they are addicted to the adrenaline rushes of impulsive actions, so much so that they do not think of consequences. That's why they often jump between relationships and do things like push people down stairs. It's too bad they didn't check her for a medical issue before anything serious happens, because it could not have been the first demonstration of Elsie's issues.

This conversation happened in front of the child, and people say a lot of hurtful things they normally wouldn't say in emotionally charged settings.
