Showing off will always get you in trouble. I know people who divorced a few years after they had an elaborate wedding that they couldn't pay for. Debts will always raise its ugly head. Besides, don't they think that life continues after the 'wedding'? Bills, rent, food, gas, etc still come in to be paid each month, regardless if you married in a court house or a fancy venue.

Makes a pleasant change for the parents to be on the wronged sisters side. Usually in these stories, everyone in the family keeps telling the wronged sibling "its time to get over it", "why are you standing on the way of your siblings happiness?" and, this channels fave "its all water over the bridge", along with "if you don't (do what they want), it obviously means you're still in love with (stolen bf's name)" So to see a mum and dad not only cut out the offending daughter, but go so far to take her down a peg, or 5, all in defense of their other daughter is awesome! Melissa absolutely deserved the truth "rumor" (um, its not a rumour if its true, right? Then it's called a fact) to be exposed! And oh boy did mum and dad expose that truth. Wow! I bet it was great entertainment for the wedding guests! Besides, after the pain they caused, Melissa and Louis don't deserve the great wedding and their happy ever after, not if they had to destroy and step on others to get it. Karma isn't too keen on things like that. And the jaws theme tune? GENIUS😂😂😂
