I think there is no clear winner in this case. Which might have been the point all along. They do different things and depending on what you are looking for, you have a choice. The color pencil had all the charm of colored pencil drawings. The hatch marks, the colorful texture, and the overall fun appearance that can be had with colored pencils. The Apple Pencil was smoother and more vibrant, making it take on a painted yet digital look. Not a bad thing. The appeal of being able to zoom in to get precise details if wanted is nice but there is something nice about the ability to only get as tight as the size of paper you are working with. I say tie.

Interesting showdown. It seems they both produce a different effect in the end. The color pencils produce sharper details and deeper color, while the apple pencil is smoother. I guess it depends on what look you're going for.

I would highly recommend you get procreate app for your iPad. It's not free but it is much better than "paper by 53". It also uses the sensitivity of the Apple pencil and its tilt sensor.

The biggest difference is not the pencil. The possibility of zoom in on the iPad and the software features, gives the Apple pencil an advantage. But the artist is great in both of It. Great work! Congratulations!

First of all AMAZING ART. Next, I really like both of them, but I like the pencils more. It just looks more lively and optimistic, while the apple pencil one has ordinary, boring colors.
