Yeah I’m mad tpd showed up in my top albums and artist when I literally only listened to the album twice all the way through.

It’s kind of frustrating that album song plays outside of the album can’t be counted… I tend to listen to an album as intended a few times before I make it into a playlist to either create my own version of it track list-wise or also just to easily find it to play amongst everything else I’ve added. Tortured Poets was also my top album but I listened to it once 😭

Yeah it's actually wild that they don't count songs from the album as the actual album plays. My brat playlist just had every single BRAT world song so I didn't have to change albums every time... now I know that if I do this I'll fuck my replay 😭

Had the same issue but with What Happened To The Heart by Aurora. It meant that my number 1 was Midwest Princess so I can’t be too mad but still justice for smaller artists!

Apple Music doesn’t count albums if you put them in a playlist and play them in that playlist. It only counts them if you actually click on the album or song and play then from there. So Brat not being your top album is because you made the Brat Summer playlist. My top albums make no sense either.

OH MY GOD.... that makes a lot of sense... but I literally MADE the playlist so I could get BRAT into my top albums rather than listening to the deluxe version LOL God I hate Apple Music hahahahaha

I dont think this is true…. I only listen to music from my PLAYLISTS, and my 2024 apple music replay playlist is 100% accurate. But it can depend on where you live, so i dont now. I have a turkish apple music

Had that same issue with the brat album would’ve been my #2 album but because it was split into a standard, deluxe and remix those times got split up between them.

Doesn’t make sense tho! The BRAT songs were basicslly my entire top 15 top songs! The remix album wouldn’t be classed as Charli solo, but her with THOSE artists, you know? Charli 8k minutes… the remix and deluxe are like 2/3k mins… haha I’m still so annoyed!

I use Spotify. My top artists were 1. Florence and the Machine, 2. Poppy, 3. Charli xcx, 4. Lady Gaga, 5. Bloc Party. And my top songs were 1. Von Dutch, 2. Club classics, 3. My Kink is Karma, 4. Hot to go, 5. B2b

Ahh yeah, while I loved her album, there were so many others that I just connected with more which makes sense. So hard this year had SO MUCH music my god!

They count minutes and not plays. Considering how long TTPD is I can see how high that is lol. But yeah I imagine brat got spread thin when there's multiple albums like a remix or deluxe

Its because BRAT was in a playlist haha Charli is like 8k minutes for me and the two additions are like 2.5k mins of that meaning the OG is like 6k making it my number one, plus my top 15 tracks are nearly all brat the og

Well, I still am stuck with Imagining from Hold the Girl on my top track. Rina is also my top artist this year, she has been since 2020. I had zero songs from Brat since I listened to Brat while I was with my friends and they played it aloud so it was somewhere there but not in my replay ;(((((( Anywaysss

Also, it seems like Apple Music doesn’t count your streams on your downloaded songs when you play them while your wifi or 5G is turned off. So yeahhh, very rigged unfortunately.

I got Taylor in my top artists but not Slayyyter (My all time favorite artist), Charli XCX, Kim Petras (Shes in ALL of my playlists), or Sabrina Carpenter. This is why I don't stan Taylor. I like some of her stuff but I just don't believe a lot of her success is completely natural.
