Yes, there is a white light that shows when you are recording. When I spoke to Wristcam, they said this is a safety feature, but it is very small, so it is coverable. Thanks and let us know if you have any other questions!

Can I be without my phone, internet, bluetooth and wifi and simply use it for a bike ride, swim and transfer later when those connections are available?

Yep! You can even use it without the Apple Watch, since it really only uses the watch to control it and see a preview, but it has its own built-in storage and function button (to record, take photos, etc). Thanks and let me know if you have any other questions!

Unfortunately, you can't. We definitely wish you could though. Wristcam is trying to push their own app for this, but we haven't tried it enough to recommend it or not yet: apple.co/3DZcwHO. Hope this helps and feel free to let us know if you have any other questions!

@@envycreative You didn’t really need to express an opinion on the quality… even just to show a single photo would have been helpful to viewers considering a purchase. You literally made an editorial decision to exclude one of the two features of the device. This review could at least have been titled “Video camera for Apple Watch” to not be misleading.

Sending your back for a new one? Me I just had it less than 24 hours the tech person is talleng me repairing my wristcam instead of replacing it after me paying 299$ very disappointing, it’s great when it works but my experience totally a huge disappointment.

Yeah, we sent ours back for another one and are still having problems with the selfie camera audio, so they said they are looking into a solution for this and will get back to me when they find one so they can send me a fixed version. Looks ridiculous on the wrist and seems to lack any kind of OIS, as the video is very shaky.
