Thank you for the instructions. You made them very easy to understand. This is the best video to learn the techniques.

Thank you for explaining why you were making the cuts. Just wish I could have seen what you were cutting. Camera was not close enough to show what you were cutting. And I was always told to make angle cuts so the water doesn’t sit there so that’s what I have been doing. Please make more videos pruning Apple & Peach trees that have been deflected. TY!

Erik Wilson got it wrong. Fruit trees unless grown from seed need to be pruned, if left to grow any bought variety will out grow its root stock and eventually fall over. When an unknown root stock gets too large the ends of the branches / new growth will turn brown and die back in summer even if you irrigate. the cure is to reduce to the correct size by cutting back by one third all round from the point that the lowest branch meets the main trunk. In some parts of the USA over grown trees will be diagnosed as infected with fire blight always seek advice from a professional and remove pruned wood to prevent disease.

This video needed closeups - couldn't see at all what he was cutting and therefore is was not as educational.

We can't be experts at everything, he makes clear some solid reasons to remember pro techniques, a little slack for non-pro vidieography required.

All the other noises going on in this video are very distracting.

You did a good job of explaining. Your cameraperson kept rubbing the mic and was not able to position the camera so that I could actually see what you were cutting, so the thumbs down.

They aren't making a living doing videos for free, some tolerance for beginner video quality if the content is professional and worth the time...was for me.
