Is there a way to connect an Apple TV to both TV and sound system? Normally you just connect to TV and from TV to sound system, but if you want to take advantage of Dolby Atmos but do not have a TV with eARC (2.1) HDMI port then you can't get the Atmos signal to the sound system. Could I use some type of splitter to send a signal from Apple TV 4k to bot TV and sound system? If so, can you suggest a HDMI 2.1 splitter? Many thanks.

moved and have anew internet company. Am trying to reset A-TV and it's showing Start Using Air Play 2. System synced to my iphone, or so I thought, though didn't show a 4-digit number for my phone. When I slide up on my phone and go to the home sign says A-TV is not available. When I tap the exclamation point, it just spins....sigh. Bluetooth and wifi all active on iphone. Any recommends?

Either you forgot a very important step or I needed one you didn't need. To get the remote to get set up I needed to hold down the MENU+Up Arrow at the same time. Found that out on another youtube video. Otherwise very helpful.

The hdmi port you plug it in to can matter on TVs. Some (Sony for instance) only have certain ports that are 4K compatible. Sure it will work but you’ll never get 4K if you don’t. Great video.

hey, there's something weird going on with my Apple TV. Everything was fine when suddenly out of the blue it started showing a message saying there was no internet connection (which is not true, I do have internet and everything). It's worth mentioning that I have it plugged to the Ethernet cable so I decided to connect via WiFi but I just couldn't find the wifi option on the Apple TV, as if it had vanished or disappeared. I reseted it thinking I'd be able to set it up as new but no! It just doesn't recognize the internet, keeps saying there is no connection and the wifi feature is just gone! Do you happen to have an idea as to why this happened?
