Wrist raise comes in handy sometimes, rather than change it in the Watch app I leave it on, then to suppress wrist raise and sounds I swipe up on the watch screen and select “theater mode” for screen and sound, no wrist raise, no notifications, no sounds. Swipe up again, later, and unselect sound and screen.

I've order my first iPhone. That is iPhone 8 plus and ordered a 18 W apple adapter too. Does using of 18W USB C Apple Fast charger reduces battery life or battery health in iPhone 8 plus? Please let me know I'm worried

yes it does affect the batter life, but thats the nature of lithium batteries, so if you ar worried about the battery life use the 5 watts charger

Love your videos. My Apple Watch 5 doesn’t seen nearly as efficient battery wise than my previsous Apple Watch 2 (or 3?) If I had any notifications on for mail, I’d go nuts with all the junk mail I get, much due to previous political activity. I’d also like to see a poll for Who (age group, gender, hobbies) uses their watch for which features - mine would be timer, messages, alarms, phone calls (mostly answering when not near phone), ekg feature for afib notification & noise alerts, as I’m a musician who sometimes plays in some really loud situations & reminder to use ear plugs is handy. Oh yes, I use it for a watch too😏.

I’ve turned off everything that makes this thing a smart watch and my battery is still absolute trash. I’ll go a whole day and never once open the screen sometimes, and I’ll still only have 30 something percent by evening. I’m stumped.

Great tips but.....Fantastic - develop a watch only to have to turn off all features because of crappy battery life. I just moved to an iphone from an a samsung note 20 ultra. Phone is awesome and I like the ios especially messaging. I just bought the series 6 Apple watch. Shame on apple. My samsung galaxy watch lasted 3 full days on a charge and I ran with full GPS, bright screen etc. Yes a heart rate monitor is a deal breaker - it incorporates the stats in your workout data. Now I am obsessively checking my battery % and scouring youtube looking for ways to extend battery life. I only had it a day so I am sure I will get used to charging more frequently. Funny thing is everyone will praise Apple when they finally invent a way to make their watch last as long as the Android. Until then they should include 17 charging cables with their watches so you can strategically place them in order to keep your watch charged - wherever you may be - and doing what it's supposed to do....operate.
