I decided to buy the SE2 because in Europe it was the best investment (Series 7 wasn’t discounted much) and I love it A LOT! It’s super fast, I compared it with the Series 7 and 8 and the extra 2 sensors (O2 and temperature) and always on display weren’t worth double the price (299 euros for the SE2 vs 399 for the Series 7 vs 499 for the Series 8). If you haven’t tried an Apple Watch, I think you might love it, I initially bought it to use it for fitness tracking and I have found countless opportunities where I use it on the daily. Couldn’t imagine not having the always on display, ever since I got a series 5. It truly makes the Apple Watch a watch. I was in the market for an SE2 or Series 8 after finally upgrading from my Series 1 (which is still on watchos6…). I have the Apple Watch Series 7 Nike edition, and I love all of the features that it has. I was excited to see what the series 8 was going to bring to the table, and have to admit that I was completely underwhelmed. Temperature tracking for ovulation does absolutely nothing for me, since I am a man. Now, if the temperature sensor was able to give you a read out on the spot to let you know if you are sick or something, that would be a game changer. And then the added crash detection, it’s just not enough new features to warrant an upgrade. Now, if we later find out that the temperature sensor CAN work in that fashion, perhaps I’ll consider it.

UPDATE: I ended up trading in my SE on the Apple Store to buy an S8. If you have your watch on you all the time, the upgrade is worth it. I liked the review because it shows me I'm not missing anything. Apple activity tracking is very decent as long as you don't really use it. The problem with the Apple watches is the absurdly short battery life is you really use it in a multi-hour workout, even the ultra isn't even in the game when it comes to battery life. You should be able too use a watch hard for days without recharging, maybe just limiting GPS. What happens when the watch is a few years old ... oh, that is right, you should buy the new watch then. I'm replacing a Garmin watch that is like seven years old because I have to charge it too often, at least I won't waste a lot on money on a watch that won't even make it through one hard use day.

i just got this for my birthday after never owning an apple watch, or a watch in general ! i really love it so far. as a person that's just getting into fitness and working out, i'm really loving how it motivates me to get up a moving. sure, a fitbit would do the same, but this is really nice !!!

Do you need an Apple Fitness Plus subscription to take advantage of all the health tracking features? I really don't wanna have to pay a monthly subscription to track my health. I am thinking of buying the SE2 to help keep tracking of my daily health and workouts but again don't wanna pay a monthly subscription for Apple Fitness Plus...

My rules is to go back a few years and take advantage of depreciation. Watching that old review as if that older model is released now helps to get rid of mental biasis

I just bought the se2 . Is a protective cover worth buying to limit the chance of cracking the screen? If so do have a suggestion as to which on to get? Thanks

Getting my first Apple Watch today. SE2 and got it for $100 from my phone carrier

The slower charging speed discouraged me to get this. Series 7 if you can get it cheaper is a better deal by 10 folds.

I was considering getting the 2nd gen Apple Watch, since it started at 249, but I saw Walmart selling the 45mm in green for 300, so I jumped for that one.

Thanks for video. It helped me to decide between the SE and the Series 8. Will spend a little more and get the Series 8.

i think based on my next two paychecks or so i might buy this watch. i really want one because i think it'd be super useful, and i've seen a lot of people using them at work to check their texts without their phone or even just the time. i feel like it'd help me with that and allow me to peak every now and then without my boss getting bothered i have my phone out. also, today in class this girl next to me was changing her music on it- i didnt know you could do that. funny enough that made me want one though- im very much a music enjoyer and the concept of being able to toggle it with my watch sounds super nice.

How does the 4G work? Do i need another eSIM only for the Navigation feature? Can't it Sync to the iPhone and use the mobile data from my phone? I'm really confused

My Gen 0 finally is coming to end of life with battery life (no longer gets full day). I believe Gen 0 was testimony to quality: battery lasted to today, I actively swam with it etc (technically isn’t waterproof). What a positive experience it has been!

Who doesn't want the Ultra, but I settled with this one because I still work from home and then go to the gym & grocery store...the SE is probably more than I need for now.

will these watches work if you don't have cellular? can you get notifications without cellular?
@ryanssqeakywaterbottle Жыл бұрын
If no cellular is available, the watch will use Wifi, or connect to the iPhone you're carrying with you

My stainless series 2 battery had finally started puffing up and popping the screen off so i upgraded to the SE2 in silver. I dont miss the durability/weight of the stainless at all and love how snappy and light it is.

I have my Apple Watch SE since April 2022. I got it just after using a refurbished Apple Watch series 2 for almost 2 years. I did need an upgrade for this one app from my iPhone to used on the Apple Watch to start my vehicle up. I also have a series 1 Apple Watch, too. I have those 2 Apple Watches just in case something gone wrong with the SE. I still used the watch bands from my 2 older Apple watches which they are both 38mm. My Apple Watch SE is in space grey that I got at Target. I’m happy with it.

I had an apple watch series 2 for years.. and over the last month decided to upgrade my wearable tech. A friend recommended i check out the garmin venu & it was a HORRIBLE experience. Exchanged it this week for the SE 2022 & am SOOOO happy I did. If you dont need the blood ox reader, 10/10 recommend saving the cash and getting this watch.

The only good Garmins are the Forerunner 645 and upwards. I have the Fenix 6x and it blows the iPhone out of the water because its’ battery lasts weeks.
