The battery life difference from my new Watch 10 compared to my old Watch 5 is off the charts. Even when my 5 was new it couldn’t come close to what I’m getting with my new 10, other than that I don’t see much difference but battery life is super important.

The Jet Black aluminum finish will not be anything like the stainless steel DLC coating. That is a finishing process only for stainless not aluminum. Jet Black will just be a highly polished aluminum case with a multi-step anodization process to preserve the sheen while retaining the deep black color. So while it’s an incredibly cool and in-depth finishing process, don’t expect it to be anything like the DLC slate coating. It will wear/scratch exactly like the Jet Black iPhone 7. They’ve probably tweaked the process to get more sheen, but there’s no way they’ve been able improve resistance to “micro abrasions.” That’s just the nature of polishing aluminum. Aluminum is a soft alloy. 7000 series aluminum is the “hardest” most durable alloy of aluminum, but it’s still no steel. There’s a reason all tooling is made of steel.

I’m interested in the sleep apnea. I have the series 8, so I’ll definitely get series 10. I’m excited they brought rose gold back, as well as titanium. I like when they had ceramic.

And luckily Apple kept the “all day 18 hours” battery life which is literally impossible to get on any other watch these days. A real joy for all of us who enjoy changing our watches at least once a day

How does one get up to 80% in 30min ? I got my watch 10 a few days ago and did checked a few charging on it and never get a fast charging, not faster then with my previous serie 8. Today checked it again ... started at 34% ...got up to 66% after 30 min charging, and up to 76% after 40min. Far from the advertising of 80% gain in 30min !!!! And those who say you only have to charge the watch during 8min to be sure to get trou the night for sleep tracking. Sorry, that's BS

I like the gold, but im poor. The aluminum one is only just in my price range so I went black. If they did a gold, even a matte gold aluminum, it would have been perfect. I was on the 5 and only changing because I scraped the watch face against concrete so its ruined, I will be keeping the 10 now until they bring blood pressure monitoring

I have the 5 and tbh I'm still underwhelmed while checking every year. I kind of wanted the 9 but waited for the 10 just because all the hype was that it would be a totally different design but I'm again disappointed lol. Upgrades seem to be just bigger/thinner and faster speed which isn't really innovative enough since it's been 5-6 years gap for our watches

Just to clarify for anyone confused, the measurements on Apple Watches is the size of the case, not the size of the screen.

I am extremely disappointed and equally pissed that (Product)Red isn’t an option anymore. I was planning to preorder a new watch as soon as it went live! I will normally wait until Black Friday or Christmas before buying something like this, but not this time! I was simultaneously watching Glowtime and rapidly hitting refresh on the watch landing page of the Apple Store. This is, I was doing that until I realized there isn’t a single color option to be excited about. I’ll probably still upgrade, but it’s now between the 9 in red and the 10 in jet black, and I’ll definitely be waiting for sales. Boo hiss, Apple!
