Apple Watch Series 10 Unboxing and first impressions 42mm Rose Gold - Updating from Series 3!

Thanks. I just got my wife the 42mm series 10 rose gold with the nylon plum strap at the big C. It's crazy how much these little things cost. And, I got apple care, which is unheard of for me after many iMacs, iPads and iPhones. It replaces a 20 year old citizen eco-drive with mother of pearl and diamonds. Gonna charge it with her iPad 10th gen charger. Think I might get her another ladies eco-drive as well as a Christmas surprise. Don't tell her haha.

I wear the small band as I only have small wrists. The 42 is the right size for me after wearing it for a while now. I think the bigger one would look a bit too big. Aww sorry to hear the 3 has cracked 😢

How much bigger does the screen look compared to your series three when on? It was a bit difficult to tell when the screens were black or on different screens and I know it’s because you had them both on the wrist but it was a bit not even on the wrist so I was having a hard time comparing 😅. I have a series four and I’m thinking of upgrading. Just not sure what size to get now. I tried to see it in my local stores and they were out of stock except for the ultra 2 which is way too big.

For me the screen bezels are a lot smaller than the 3. The screen size looks about the same but the bezels being smaller gives you more screen realestate. I notice I have a much easier time pressing the buttons on the screen which is always nice.

Hello Elyce, I have the old series 3 black and have noticed a lot of my friends have upgraded to the latest Apple watch. I must admit my series 3 lives in the drawer these days, it felt like I was always charging it and had a skin reaction to it. Anyway I’ll look forward to your input about using the latest edition to sway me into upgrading. Looks very elegant on you. I’d love to know about the Oura ring you have also and if there is any cross over in health data to the Apple Watch? Nice unboxing 👍

Thank you ☺️ I think with all the health features and the upgrade in screen you would definitely wear it more often but some people don’t want to track all those things and that’s where you could try something different. The Oura ring is amazing and I absolutely love the data that I get from tracking my sleep and cycle. I can also see what stress looks like during the day and reflect on what makes me stress and how to manage it better. A really cool tool indeed and so convenient to wear to sleep. But I love getting the calls and notifications on my watch which the ring doesn’t do so I think they both have a place for myself. I am glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you stick around for more 😊😊
