Love my Apple Watch series 7 (blue). I upgraded from the series 3 and wow what a difference. Went with the cellular option this time and glad I did. I wear my watch everyday, all day. I often use it more than my iPhone. I take it off when going to bed and still have 50% battery .

I’m still on series 6, opting out of the series 7. The larger display was tempting, but I decided to wait to see what the series 8 has to offer. A rare burst of self-control.
@Tushkoo2702 жыл бұрын
The series 8 new sensors will not be accurate it takes time to make a sensor work the way it should, so I say series 9 or 10 of Apple watch will be the best option! It's best to avoid the series 8 with new sensors the first redesign is most of the time not successful. iPhone x face id failed on unveiling. iPhone 10s series was better, then iPhone 11 series was not good too! IPhone 12 series was okay but the 13 series is just the one with no issues like the iPhone 12 series. iPhone 14 series with new higher mega pixel camera sensor will not do great, but the iPhone 15 series will work the way it should. It just takes time to make tech perfect. Making a new tech perfect takes at least about 6 months after putting it on the market for selling.
@funkam0nkey2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like my inner monologue. I've been fighting my temptation to upgrade to the 7 for a week now. I keep thinking "The 8 is just around the corner" I'm hoping to be able to hold out although I'm not sure what the 8 can do better than the 6 or 7. A watch is a watch after all.
@PurushNahiMahaPurush2 жыл бұрын
Series 7 is basically series 6 with extra steps. Apple Watch upgrades have been pretty incremental every generation which I appreciate lol
@markus89942 жыл бұрын
@@Tushkoo270 by that mindset you’d be waiting till 2040 to buy a product. Not everyone cares about a new sensor for the Apple Watch that may need time to improve. Some people upgrade for the smaller things like bigger screen, faster charging, faster chip, longer battery life (hopefully this year)
@SJRS7002 жыл бұрын
If you are on a series 6, dont upgrade wait for the series 8 it will come with a new design and will be tempting and would actually feel like an upgrade because of the squared off edges. In my opinion series 8 will make series 7 and 6 look a bit outdated because of the series 8 new design. so go for the series 8

I’m a construction worker and I’m wearing the stainless steel 45 mm version. Lots of dust, lots of bumbs in these past 6 months and I have no scratches on the display. Micro scratches on the frame are normal, since it is stainless. Handles dust and humidity without a problem! Same as accidental bumps and dings. My first ever apple wach and I’m not disappointed!

I love my Apple Watch Series 7. Having that slightly bigger screen is so much nicer. It seems to work better with my other devices for some reason too. Especially with my MacBook Pro. I love being able to double tap on my watch for purchases on my Mac. (I use Infograph on my Apple Watch Series 7). I use the fitness and heart rate checking a lot with my Apple watch. I am a new to Apple and using my first iPhone 12. I thought recently about getting an Apple Watch but the only thing that prevents me from buying one is the battery life. 18 hours is nothing. Other watches / fit bands can last days on a single charge (Currently using Xiaomi Mi Band 6 and it lasts 10 f-ing days) and most of them have almost the same functionality as the Apple Watch. Maybe not Apps, maybe not seamless integration with iOS but 90% of the stuff are there. Can't wrap my head around the idea of buying an Apple Watch when there are much better products on the market.

Or is it better to go for the Apple Watch 7 45mm stainless steel ? Since u have both I would like your opinion 🙏
@thiannaidoo8445 Жыл бұрын
The differences between then is that the series 7 has a keyboard to type and send messages, bigger 1mm body and thinner bezel bigger display, the screen is more durable, but even tho it’s more durable it gets scratches more easily than the series 6 stainless steel. Only if you get the stainless it will barley have any scratches. In my opinion I think the series 7 is worth it but, the series 6 is still a great watch!

The fitness portion of the Iwatch is terrible! I’ve had the series 3 and now 7 and they hardly ever count flights climbed. I live in a house that has stairs, so of course I like to track that movement too. On the other hand, I have an old FitbitOne which is a clip on and always counts stairs climbed and accurately too! Unfortunately, they discontinued this model and eventually the battery will not charge. For all the money apple 🍎 charges you’d think they could have a product that has a feature that actually works!

I honestly don’t pay too much attention to the charging speeds, either, on the WS7. I have two main charging locations - one in my office and one in the living room by my chair. So I’m either working or just watching a show. Outside of that my battery is normally good to go for exercising and what-not. I *would* charge it during nighttime - and I know what y’all are thinking *sleep tracking* ~ no. Actually I sleep with it because I use it for my alarm and keep the alarm sound alert off. The watch vibrates and wakes me up while creating little to no disturbance for my wife, which I absolutely love because I hate using a normal alarm clock. It also allows you to snooze if you need to without your spouse hearing the alarm go off every 9 minutes 😂 (Honestly, I rarely look at the sleep tracking.) Although I do get a notification every now and then that I hit my sleep goal 😂😂😂 Definitely love the series 7. But my favorite gen was the series 5.
