What about the new feature of snapping your fingers to do an action (like answer a call). Are those features only on the Series 9? (or will it work on 8 too)

It works on 8 as well

Snapping finger would only work apple watch 9 and Ultra 2

I think we have to wait for some optimization on WatchOS 10. I get some slowly animations, when changing watch face, for example.
