Thanks for the video! I agree that the stainless steel link bracelet is fire on the Ultra. I was originally planning to keep my SS Series 7 for formal occasions, but I threw my link bracelet on today and I was blown away how good it looks. I also agree that it’s the most comfortable metal band for the Apple Watch. It’s expensive, but it doesn’t pinch your wrist. I got a pretty nasty pinch from the Nomad stainless steel band, and now I’m reluctant to wear it.

Great video. I think the next feature for Apple to develop is to allow users to adjust the theme colours of the watch. E.g. the colours of the buttons and background etc, to match the wristbands.

Thanks for the video, and good to see someone else making their own leather straps for their watches! I bought my Ultra only a month or so ago, so I am a bit behind for the party. I bought it on the Trail Loop band, and I use this when I am swimming, surfing, out on my bike, or any place where getting wet/sweaty/muddy is a possibility. For day-to-day wear though, I have sewn up a couple of leather bands, both from “Lyveden” veg tanned leather and lined with pigskin. One is in the Elephant Grey colour and the other is Conker. Both look really slick and give me a few options to make the watch a little more formal. Keep up the good work and keep well :-)

The non ultra bracelets (older ones) look too narrow. I noticed the ultra bracelets have a little that extends out and pushes the band further from the wrist giving it more volume (in appearance). The older bands hug the wrist closely and look too narrow relative to the size of the watch.

I use old bands on the Ultra and the watch doesn't look as big and bulky as the new bands. I bought the new Elderberry to put on the Ultra and yes the watch does not look so big.

All bands will fit but the 42 and lower look weird I have a few bands I change the face depending on what band I got to match it so far the alpine loop is my favorite by far then the Nike sport bands with the holes look good too the link one is very nice but not really my style I think they look better on the series models but props to Apple for being smart and keeping the band slot the same after so many years

I’ve been buying the black stainless AWatches since the 2nd one. With the that one I bought the black bracelet. I’ve bought a number of other bands and bracelets. But I keep wearing that one. After almost seven years, wearing it almost every day, including in my shops, including my metal working shop with grinders, polishers, etc. except for a tiny bit of the coating wearing off some of the edges, it’s perfect. When I first read that it would fit this, I was pretty happy. I’ve absolutely read that the black goes better with the Ultra than the silver version because it’s too close in color and the finish is also close, but that’s the problem because it doesn’t really match, and looks like a mismatch, and that the black one goes better with it. Well, I’ll see when my watch comes late next month.

i’ve noticed that almost no one on KZbin ever puts the loop bands on the way that they’re designed to be worn. While the way you put them on may be unintuitive. The point is the aesthetics. The clasp is meant to face away from you when you’re looking at your watch because it is a design piece and is meant to be shown outwardly. you can see this with all of Apple’s watch bands on their website and in their store. you can also easily tell by looking inside the band where it says what watch size it is for. (49mm) The end with that label always go on the side closer to the crown

Not sure which loop you are referring to but the Alpine Loop definitely doesn’t go that way. The 49mm label is on the inside of the side that goes on the bottom further away from the crown. You can see it’s that way on all the marketing and it feels more natural that way on the wrist. To me anyway.
