As an apple watch se 2 user, the battery life works great for me and I really enjoy using it. I can last the whole day and only charging it at the end of the day.

Great video, shows just much we can normalize on what's actually very bad battery life. Apple makes a great product as far as accuracy (Heart rate, Sleep, etc...watch The Qualified Scientist channel). But like the latest Pixel Watch and Samsung Watch...battery life is just horrible for many of these products. You shouldn't have to watch KZbin videos on how to squeeze the most out of an Apple watch battery. Especially since there are products from others that last days or weeks...not hours.

Thank you for the extensive tests and your time! The Series 8 has a dimmed display at the start of the first round (6:11) compared to the second round (9:03). Since the display brightness has a huge impact it got worse in low power mode. In case of the Series 5 the display was dimmer in low power mode. So the low power mode time is better than normal.

No problem, so yes, this was something. I’ve also noticed but it will automatically dim back up. I think this has something to do with the auto dim brightness just there’s no setting to disable that.

It's funny, because it took the Ultra to even get my attention, LOL! It's so funny, because the Pebble came out of the gate, with a 7 day battery, and here we sit, all these years later, and Apple can STILL only bring a watch to market, with a battery that will kinda last 3 days... At least the Ultra will last one day, without needing to be charged... LOL! Also, the Ultra finally has the features I really wanted, like on watch GPS, on watch cellular service, fall detection, and emergency functions. The rest is just fluff...

Update: I've been using the Snoopy watch face, since the update, and LOVE it! But, there's a problem Huston. It's eating the battery life down, to only 2 days, ugh... Will I change it back? NO! It stinks, that there are no complications, but him and Woodstock are just so stinkin awesome!
