@teresamcmurrin8672 Жыл бұрын
@@kevinkingshott6366You do realize that when discussing a work of fiction, people will generally speak about the characters as if they were real people within the context of the story, right? This does not mean they think the story actually happened and the characters are real people. If I say "Rocket Raccoon shouldn't have stolen those batteries from the bad-ass gold aliens", that doesn't mean I don't realize it's a work of fiction. Yet in pretty much every comment section of these types of videos, there is at least one person that feels the need to give us all the great revelation that these works are fictional. (Yes, I'm sure there are a few people that think these are 100% factual, but there are also a few people that believe in a flat earth, so there's that. IOW, not the norm.) From what I've heard, most of these text morality plays are supposed to be based on actual reddit posts--but I suspect very, very loosely based. Seems they take a bare premise ("my best friend stole my fiancee"), and adapt it to be a standard morality play.

Reminds me of one of my old bullies from high school who used to bully me because I was openly gay but I also did boxing in school. Two years after graduating high school.
