Drove 5 hrs with my buddy to get his. 2020. He let me drive it for a couple hrs back. Touched 130 in it, was scared to push it any further. The machine ABSOLUTELY eats the road. It basically screams at you to unleash it. It can be a daily, barely lol but can be. But I’m telling you, I’ve never been in a vehicle that wants to commit sins before. The gt500 is a god damn nightmare for anything crossing its path. Don’t get me wrong, there are things out there that shit on this car, I’m not stupid, but this car is a fucking hell of a time. 😈😈😈

I know $89k sounds like a ton of money, but I went the build my own route with a 22GT mischievous purple Stg2 Whipple carbon fiber goodies etc, I now have around $70-75k in mine tho mine is faster than the gt500 here it’s still not as capable doesn’t have all the extra coolers gt500s do like differential cooler w fan Trans & oil coolers bigger engine better trans and the Shelby brand name which is value alone! So if I could do it over I would buy this in like rite now!!except this car here was like $125k ++ when I bought mine! So this is a steal in my book!!

first off, you have to have the 10 speed gt if you want the fastest coyote, Secondly if you built it to 800-900 up, it's been proven a stock gt500 with 600+ hp will still be faster because of the 7 speed dct.

That 7speed IS NOT faster than the 10speed! And I've beat the dog snot out of C8-C8Z06s they have the exact same dual clutch trans which means 💩! That transmission ain't going to beat you alone and it's just hilarious that you said that pure 💩! I literally lmao at it!

Caliper piston count has very very little effect on stopping distance. If anything it adds ex😢tra unsprung Whight. This is a very extreme Mustang, but it’s still a Mustang. $150.000.00 Mustang? I think a base GT with the performance package, a Whipple supercharger, a wheel tire and brake upgrade. A TR 6060 dog box sequential transmission swap plus a car legal header swap . Plus finally some carbon fender, flares upfront cover the larger tires and wheels and a handbrake upgrade upgrade. All that will make more power and better handling and still pass smog. All for 1/2 the price. Or twin turbo a Gt auto and destroy at drag strip. Or supercharge a Mach1 or GT350. Don’t mess around with the GT350 motor. Stock is perfect. This is just a kinda silly thing that really makes a an answer to a question nobody had. I still think God for built this along with the Mustang and the coyote in general. Ford has had some bumps along the way, but they’re willing to try new things and in the end they make an affordable product that can easily compete with much more expensive options Ford would be proud, I know America!

Sorry which model is this again? Shelby GT 500 with the CFTP are $120-160K American depending on the mileage. Vanguard motors has several on their site. This video is only 10 months old, no way this one is 88K unless it’s got 100 thousand miles on it.

the hellcat, demon and zl1 sound better cuz you can hear the supercharger whine and for both gt500 models (2021 and 2012-14) you don't get a supercharger whine from the exhaust unless you're in the engine bay unless you upgrade the pullies and add an intake. sure its "a great car" for under 100k but i rather go for the 5th gen zl1, the hellcat, the red-eye, or the demon if i had the finances for it

The rotary dial for transmission selection is bogus. If your steering wheel is crossed-up when doing burnouts and you can’t access the shift paddles, you’re unable to change up through the gears due to the lack of console shifter. 👎🏻

Conversely, shift paddles mounted to the steering wheel become inverted and switch sides when the wheel is crossed up during aggressive burnouts / drifting / donuts. This is precisely why drivers will momentarily switch to the console shifter instead in order to avoid any confusion when hurriedly changing gears. Edit : Which you are unable to do with a rotary dial.
