This is such a random thing for like 99% of people who enjoy this arangement, but I remember an early Minecraft Survival Games server called Hungercraft I was a part of used this as their theme song. This was the first time I heard this song before I ever even knew who WoodenToaster or what a brony even was. I have a lot of memories tied to this incredible arrangement, but those are what I associate most with it. There's probably like 1,000 people tops on the whole planet who even know what that was. Either way, I listen to this all the time, not even for the nostalgia of that. It's just an incredible homage to a phenomenal musician, and needs no context for fandom or anything else. Incredible stuff.

Where did all the music like this and brony metal medley go? Songs like these came out the time when I started in the fandom BECAUSE of the epic music output from the community. But the music has slowly been disappearing and the songs are changing for the people that do stick around. :/ Kinda nostalgic listening to this, I almost view this song as an homage to a lost era, the best era, of this fandom.

After about 2 years or so of being a closet brony, in fact I think I've been a closet brony longer than that, and that I have now declared myself a full-on brony, it's somehow funny and delightfully ironic. I love the Rainbow Factory song - the original and this symphonic version alike. but, I was actually really loving the Nightmare Night opening, and would've liked to hear it go on a little longer before Rainbow Factory usurped the next three minutes. xD Although, I was wondering how you'd transition from one to the next, so I suppose that was a big factor in how long Nightmare could go. :)
