One of our cats likes to chew on envelopes as well. One thing I'd like to see these power supply companies do is provide a power cable that was a different color for 12v/18v hook ups. I put a sticker label on my high voltage wires so I won't accidently plug them into a 9v only pedal.

I have a Gator power supply that has both 9V and 18V and they did that exact thing. The 18V connector on the power supply is different and those cables have a red stripe on them so it's easy to identify. I always liked that feature but there are folks who complain about it because they have to buy more of a specific cable depending on how many pedals they're powering. You'll never make everyone happy. LOL.

mA on each port is the "max" current it can draw..Current is different from voltage.. current only draws what the pedal (load) needs to operate regardless of the max current the port can draw..if you have a pedal that draws only 10mA, if you plug it to 300mA port, it will only draw 10mA..

That's correct. Thanks for checking out the vid.

Great demo and i am looking for 2 more power supplies. My guitar pedal board is set up for shoegaze/post punk/ noise (its has 12 pedals.) So it needs a second power supply. My bass pedal board is set up for the same sort of thing but with few pedals.

I think this one is going to be hard to best for the price. Lekato seems to make good stuff.

The wallwart makes me a bit skeptical that this is actually isolated. So many of these tend to say it's isolated when they have overcurrent protection for each port that allows one to go down without affecting the others instead of each port being fully isolated.

Understood. I was a bit leery with the price. It doesn’t seem like you could make an isolated power supply at that price point. That said I’ve been pretty impressed with Lekatos products.

Does the power supply must be connected or is it a battery?

There is no internal battery. The MPP-10 has to be connected to A/C power to function.

I don't know why the adapter plug on this power supply is 12V instead of 18V

I'm not sure why they did that either. I'd imagine they use some sort of 150% step up transformer to boost those channels to 18V. Thanks for watching.
