The issue is more that the Eurocentric beauty standard is and in recent history is the global standard. Especially if you're a mixed race/black girl growing up in an environment where you're the only, or one of few. That's more the issue for girls of color around the world.

Jorja, I love you so much! I was first introduced to your music in 2017 through the song "Beautiful little fools" and I was into that song during such a dark period in my life. I then began listening to "Lost & Found" and I have never listened to an album the way I did with this album I know every song by heart and am truly touched by every piece. You have an angelic voice that comes with angelic energy I HOPE TO SEE YOU LIVE ONE DAY OR MEET YOU because your music helped me through the darkest times in my life!!!!

I remember I first heard her in the Black Panther Album and I was like "wow this voice is something else" so I look up to Lost & Found that was awesome too and just after all that I saw her Instagram and saw how beautiful she is. I know her talent is being more recognized now and I'm very happy for her. Love u Jorja
