love the alarm tip! It is one I use all of the time as a Special education para. There are always students coming and going from my classrooms. sometimes for pullouts, therapies or even special duties for some of my bigger kids. In order to get them to where they need to be, on time with as little disruptions to the teachers as possible, i set individual alarms for those kids and have them on vibrate so i feel it in my pocket or on my smartwatch.This prevents the kids from constantly asking when they have to leave and phone calls from other staff wondering why the kiddo never showed up.

Great tip about timers as reminders! I have a reminder for lunch and to pack up for dismissal, but now I'll add one for specials.

I'm guessing the backpack-hook dimension rule is because of lice or bugs jumping from bag to bag, yes? If that's not the reason, I cannot imagine what it is. If so, the rule-makers have made it worse because, to solve the problem of where to put them, the backpacks would've been piled on top of each other. Your principal gets an A+! Cute outfit!
