When I was engaged I wanted absolutely nothing to do with wedding planning. I just wanted to elope, but he wanted the big formal wedding. So, I told him that he could plan it and delegate some tasks to me. I was very impressed that all I had to do was pick out my wedding gown, my bridal party and their dresses, and help taste test different cakes. The wedding and reception was beautiful and I was so impressed because he planned a dream wedding. I didn't know he had the capability to pull all this off. The next day as we were taking off for our honeymoon, I told him how impressed I was with the beautiful and elegant wedding he planned. He stayed quiet for a moment, then started laughing his butt off. That's when he told me, "I'm glad you have so much faith in me, but I didn't plan that, the wedding planner did for the great price of $30 per person (yes seems cheap but this was 30 years ago)!" I joined right in with him laughing. I think the rest of the people on the plane thought we were nuts or drunk...or both.

Yeah, some people (characters) are unbelievable! I'm glad his fiancee woke up and decided not to marry him. Maybe she was hoping he would go back to his old self and that it was just stress from the wedding. But to the outsiders, it was obvious that was just a show and this is his true self. At least the mask didn't slip after they got married.

Man I am glad my husband doesn’t like alcohol. But both of us were involved in planning even if we didn’t care for it. I honestly did it for my dad, he wanted to give me away and he died 2 years later. I don’t regret that, I let my parents renew their vows at the wedding. They mean that much to me. That was 15 years ago

I could see Michael & Hannah not being happy. Michael was giving off a ton of red flags and not making the connection that Mia's husband is the company president despite all the clues she dropped. He's so tick-headed.

Agreed! Like many people who like to give others the benefit of the doubt, she was probably hoping he would go back to his old self and that he was just stressed from the wedding. But this was his true self. At least the mask slipped before they got married and she woke up. It's a good thing she left for good after he blew the second chance she gave him. I wouldn't have given him a second chance but I've done similar things when I was younger and naive too.

Amazing story. My husband, when he was my fiancé came home late and drunk. I’m not a big drinker, and he knew that. I threw my ring at him. He was over at 7 am, apologizing…that was 42 years ago. He’s the best husband I could have dreamed for.

@shadowki5687 That, I agree with. They can't stand being ignored. The best way to shut them down is not have an outward expression, calmly say something like 'no' or something and just leave it at that. They can't stand the silence and leave you alone.

@@shadowki5687 speaking from experience, be careful. Some narcissists seem harmless, but can have a nasty, vicious side. Don't take anything for granted and be suspicious about coincidences surrounding them. Especially things like things going missing, getting broken and people getting sick or having accidents. Precious items and pets will be the first to suffer. Some narcissists are fully sociopaths.

I can't understand why some people think you have to drink to have fun. Why do people want to stay out and spend a lot of money doing something that is going to leave them with a hangover the next morning when they are going to work. For me the idea of getting home to hug my wonderful wife was the best part of working. It was definitely a lot more fun to be with her than it was to be around the people I worked with.

Planning a wedding was super stressful for me, especially since it was my sister's wedding, she is an experienced event planner who had everything under control, and my dad's heart isn't good enough for me to be willing to taze him every time he started screeching at me for not helping out more in the planning process.

Don't stress too much on the ceremony. As long as the judge says so. Registry of marriages agrees. You're both man & wife. My token of marriage was not a ring. It was a pendant. My family heirloom. The dragon-phoenix white jade pendant. My wife still has no idea how rare it is. We have two halves of them. She has the phoenix, i have the other half.

Marriage isn't really a big change, it's a confirmation of the relationship you already have. Having a baby is a real change in life, as you actually have to change your life to be baby friendly. Every aspect of you life changes The only thing that might change (other than your title, )when you get married, is if you don't already live together.

For me, marriage was a huge change for the better. We met and I fell hard for her but we lived 2000 miles apart. In the 16 months of our courtship, we were actually only in the same state for a total of 5 weeks. I was told by several different people that our marriage would never last. We've been married almost 37 years.

PSA: I have the right to share any conversation I'm a part of, as long as I'm not sharing privileged information. If you send me a bunch of toxic messages I'm going to show them to anyone I please. That whole "it was supposed to be between you and me" thing doesn't apply to everyday conversations. If you don't want me to show people your toxicity then don't send me toxic bull$h!t. Otherwise, I'm going to show people who you really are, because they deserve a warning about what you're really like under the facade you show the rest of the world.

34:40, Way to hit the nail on the head. 35:14, Again this is just a Example of someone trying to save their own Skin, and not Actually Sorry about their Behavior. 36:08, Sounds like he thought you could improve if you learned some Humility. 37:10, I hope for Hanna's sake that those were not just empty Words. 38:22, honestly sounds like you were Dispised by Everyone in the office for your Behavior, even your boss. and you couldnt take the Abuse you were dishing out. 38:55, Some do, but the second they get Paid, they RePay the company for the Funds they used, instead of Ignoring the Bills they made. 39:50, Dont you realize thats why you became the Janitor? Because she thought there is room for Redemption in you? and you just blew that.
