Yeah, it makes sense to check to see if what your going to show is accurate before you actually show it. Also, that whole "septic bite" hypothesis is redundant. It makes sense that a Tyrannosaurus bite could get infected with bacteria, but it's not like the bacteria is specifically potent or anything. It also doesn't makes sense for T. rex to specifically eat rotten meat just so the next thing they bite has a high chance of getting sepsis. It's more likely T. rex just ate when it needed to and didn't care what it ate as long as it was meat. Also, any animal bite has a chance of getting infected by bacteria that was in the animal's mouth, that's not special to only T. rex and other reptiles. Remember, If you get bit or scratched by any animal, make sure to wash and dress the wound. A hospital trip is also encouraged if the injury is bad enough.

They forgot that the T-rex was full of feathers. This is more logical. The feathers will help it swim and keep it above the water. The T-rex is, after all, a bird.

T.rex was most likely not fully feathered. And it wasn’t a maniraptorian (the group of theropods that birds belong too)
