According to the SDS for this stuff, it has at least 50% polydimethylsiloxane and the rest is a cationic micro emulsion. I stumbled across a patent for this very type of mixture and it describes the best way of 'breaking' the emulsion is by weakening the cationic bonds with added electrolytes aka salts, or more water. Diluting this product probably gets it started, and using a garden hose on a softer stream instead of a pressure washer at first probably finishes it out. I have a feeling too much water pressure or too much flow like from a garden hose jet stream or pressure washer pushes the product off before it has a chance to lay down. I've been doing some searching since I got some last week. I've used it 3 times and this last time it worked out fairly well! I have the 16oz so it's RTU, no dilution. I misted about 3/4 of each surface I was going to treat while the car was wet and instead of immediately hitting it with a strong jet, I waited about 30 or 45 seconds, then with my pressure washer I held the wand back just so the car caught the end of the stream, just enough to get pushed around, as soon as I saw the water behavior change, that's when I hit it with a strong jet. Of the 3 cars I did, this one turned out the best. Not as slick as most ceramic sealants even sprays, but very hydrophobic, and no patches. Can't wait to see how long it lasts... Also, for the concentrated version, I have a feeling diluting with tap water will ruin it due to the natural electrolytes and additives causing the reaction in the bottle while you're washing the car and by the time you use it, it's not going to work properly, Instead becoming more of a spray on buff off sealant. Distilled or ro/di water should be used for dilution. Just my findings and guesses!

A buddy of mine got a gallon this Nanoskin Supercharger in the concentrate form when he was at SEMA last year right from the Nanoskin booth. He tested this when he got home and got mediocre results the first time diluting it to the recommended ratio on the bottle. However, he tried again a week later using a much higher dilution rate and said it worked great! At least as good as other comparable products on the market. He too said it's the best value on the market, even diluted 20:1 rather than the recommended 100:1 for the concentrate. It's still a stellar value. So the key to this stuff is buy the concentrate and dilute it down at about a 20:1 ratio and it will work fantastic. Nanoskin has some fantastic products but not a lot of people use them and they aren't as well known outside of the professional detail arena. One product that they are VERY well known for is the "Autoscrub" system which is the synthetic clay disc's you can put on a DA polisher along with their GLIDE clay lubricant concentrate. I love GLIDE and it is a great value too because of the high dilution ratio. It also smells GREAT which I love. When I am detailing, working with a product that actually smells great is a plus to me as it makes the whole experience that much better. Autoscrub is really what got the whole "Synthetic Clay" products popular. At one point, it was really the only option related to the Synthetic clay's. They have both the "Disc's" along with their Speedy Prep Clay Towel and also their small Foam Block synthetic clay products too which are also great. The small towel comes in a generic middle of the road aggressiveness between fine and medium and works well on spot clay jobs. I use it probably the most of all my synthetic clay products. The synthetic clay foam blocks are also fantastic for spot clay jobs and come in both fine or aggressive or a kit of both. Finally, when doing the entire car, I love the AUTOSCRUB system! Fast, efficient, and works great. Many people will say they like the traditional clay better, and that's fine, I just think that the Synthetic Clays save a LOT of time, and work almost as well (or as well or better in some circumstances) as a traditional clay. For a detailer who is interested in speed and efficiency, coupled with effectiveness, the Autoscrub system by Nanoskin is an absolute MUST. It will save so much time and give very acceptable results in production or mobile detailing operation. I've never had a problem with using the Autoscrub system. It comes in all different sizes too. 4", 5", and 6" sizes are pretty standard I think. The 4" kit comes with two disc's and was developed for the older style CYCLO two head machine polisher that was popular years ago and is still around. If you don't have a CYCLO polisher, the 4" discs can also be used on a 3" backing plate and you just get two disc's which gives you an additional disc to use as a backup or when the first disc is used up. Another BIG plus to the Autoscrub synthetic clay system is longevity! You get about 40 full sized vehicles out of a disc which is incredible. They are completely reusable and washable. If they fall on the ground, just rinse them off completely and you are ready to keep on claying! That's a fantastic benefit over traditional clay right there. Another Nanoskin product I have heard is really good is their "HYPER SUDS" wash soap. Both as a regular vehicle wash and in the foam cannons. Nanoskin products have one thing going for them over comparable products.........VALUE. Not all of them are as good as other companies comparable products, but many (most) of them are. Next time you come across Nanoskin, give it a try, you may be pleasantly surprised at how good they are for the price you pay. For a detailer just getting into detailing or a weekend warrior who wants good detailing products for a reasonable price, again, VALUE is a big selling point with Nanoskin products. It would allow the budget minded detailer or weekend warrior to get a shelf full of products they need to get started in detailing for a reasonable price. You buy, say, 10 starter products from a big box store or auto parts store, OR, you could probably be able to buy 20 professional line products from Nanoskin for the same amount of money. Most Nanoskin products are available on Amazon or other on-line sites.

I picked up the gallon jug of Super Charger and would have to agree that 100:1 is a bit weak. I’m still testing the dilution so maybe 20:1 is the way to go. I also have the Autoscrub mitt and like it for when I have to do an entire car. Definitely a lot faster than tradition clay.
