How does this Super Grip coating (also ambient cure version) stand up to UV? Can this be used on outdoor applications?

For anyone interested in the answer to this question, I received following feedback from Cerakote: Good morning, Thank you for reaching out to our Technical Support Team. I was able to work with my R&D team and they provided me with the following information. “SG-100 is currently in UV testing and has gone 1224 with .32 delta change. We anticipate that it will receive an excellent rating once completed. Chemical testing is completed via 96hr soak Methyl Ethyl Ketone, Acetone, and Diesel. Post testing delta change was .45. with zero coating loss, receiving an excellent rating.”

@@abetlej I believe most if not all cerakote products have really good UV resistance, some are just rated to be more salt water / chemical resistance and electrically conductive than others

Can this be mixed with colored coatings without losing texture?

What does the coating compare to as far as grip textures?

Super Grip feels like a cross between fine-grit sandpaper and velvet. It has a soft texture that’s comfortable to the touch, yet offers a firm, non-slip surface. Think of it as a velvety sandpaper-smooth but with just the right amount of grip

What is the plug that you used to fill in the bottom metal / receiver space in the video when you are spraying the stock? Its labelled MTR SA.
