That was wonderful. I took Diff. Eq. a year ago and a first order d.e. popped up in my Electrical Circuits class. This helped clear the rust off a little bit.

it is one method, but it's generally easier to derive the general formula from this differential equation and use the formula instead

How is E function of time when it's a battery so called independent voltage source or DC,so by your logic if voltage is function of time then it's AC source
