Well, on the bright side, he did mess up the non stick coating on the pan by using a metal scourer. I've used this method (baking soda and vinegar) before and it works if you clean it immediately. Best to just let your food cook gently by turning the heat down on the hob.

When you soaked the pan 1st time it should have soaked both inside and outside pan..no need to do it again…and youre scratching the inside non stick inside..

The pan is supposedly coated with burnt on crud, inside and out. But somehow the handle is in pristine condition after all that burning despite being made from wood. How is it that pan surface had anything burned on? It is clearly a nonstick pan. You can scratch the coating but you cannot burn a layer of anything on it. At least not until the nonstick coating is totally scratched off which is what it looks like they are trying to accomplish with that steel wool! Also, the combination of vinegar (acid) with baking soda (alkaline) makes them cancel each other out. The solution becomes carbonic acid which is very unstable so it immediately breaks down into water and carbon dioxide; useless for cleaning but looks exciting because of all the bubbles. Whatever was used to make the pan loook so bad even began to wash off with plain boiling water. I really dislike fake "hacks". Life is tough enough without telling people to use a pointless method that wastes time and energy.

Fake video. This dirt is not burnt, but applied for the purpose of showing something, not connected with reality. Vinegar and baking soda would never solve the problem if this was real hard burnt food sticking to the pan. Stop these fake informations - so boring.

After applying WD40 you need to wash with some utensils cleaning liquid otherwise kerosene like smell will come from your food.
