Matt, first I will start by thanking you for your dedication to helping us form meaningful relationships in Christ, this video came as an answered prayer, I was praying asking God to show me what I need to do, I and my friend we have been dating have wounds from our past and hurt so much our different wounds are attachment wounds, he have been the best but he is afraid of being close and commitment and abandonment and rejection, i fear rejection and abandonment and fear lack of commitment ,am an anxious attachment and he is a fearful ,also I do not see myself away from him I just want to be clingy and needy but when he takes time away I find myself wanting to pray the most and for him he sees himself not worthy of love but sometimes when we are together he would ask me to say a prayer,not to conclude but should i consider your point number one as he could be the one? Is God highlighting our wounds to help us heal?

No, God would never lead you to do that because he's said in his word that Christians should only be married to other Christians (1 Corinthians 7:39, 2 Corinthians 6:14). Never compromise on your faith.
