Hii Komila, thanks for this informative video, I do have few questions as I have Maths and Physics in my 10+2 but the grades are near 40% only, so should I go to Nios to get my grades improved or should I move forward to get my mark-sheets verified. As most of the flying schools I have looked at demand minimum of 50% in Maths and Physics.

maine dgca k exams abhi diye hai. Don't worry Maine NIOS se maths & physics ki thi. my marks were just passing. Aap ko pilot banne Mei koi problem nhi aayegi. DGCA recognises NIOS as valid board. Don't worry :)

you must apply for on demand examination in NIOS. It's equal to any other board. Open the website www.nios.ac.in and complete the admission process. Appear for the exam when you're prepared. Results will be out after 45 days.Text me further if you need any help.

33 is passing for both and as required otherwise if you are applying for cadet program or IGRUA, they may require higher percentage to get eligibly for entrance exam

Hi mam, I have passed 12th from CBSE in 2016 with 72% but got 55 in maths. To become eligible for AFCAT FLYING BRANCH I need to get atleast 60 marks. I gave on demand in maths last year but got 37 in that(don't know how because I am getting very good marks in maths in my B.Sc.) & the paper was very easy. I am planning to appear again in On Demand Exam for maths. Please tell me how to cross 60 marks in such a stupid board. Please reply soon..

Hi Shubham. Nios is a strange board with strange marking scheme. They are very particular about step marking answers as far as maths is concerned. Clearing maths in Nios ( on demand) itself means you know a lot about the subject because Nios doesn't clear you just like that as far as on demand examinations are concerned. The trick is to appear in Public Examination. They have their own students who are enrolled for regular courses so they tend to check exam papers in a lenient manner. I know it will take some time since this isn't on demand but thats where you can score 60 in maths or the marks you deserve.

Hi re- evaluation is not a great option because they hardly increase any marks. Also, It takes another 2 months for the result to get displayed so I would recommend you to get enrolled in Public Examination instead, you'll be able to score 70- 80 even because that is where they check the papers the way they are suppose to be checked. Amir Mulla the syllabus is defined for public examination, there’s no specific syllabus for on demand, no TMAs so you have to study everything. Also the checking is very lenient in public examination as compared to on demand.
